Honestly this is a what if that can work. because spoiler alert for those who don't know... Yorrichi the guy who made sun breathing, Tanjiro's dad, and Tanjiro himself. Unlock something called the selfless state, everyone who's ever fought someone who can use the selfless state have always called them basically a moving plant. So in a sense sage mode which makes you one with nature in a sense would fit pretty well here.

This is my thoughts on sage mode in demon slayer Unfair Because from what I know it starts off as a absolutely MASSIVE flat buff(you're taking in energy from your surroundings, so it doesnt really matter how strong you are unless you're so weak you cant hold the energy or something) But the scale of the power up is, in my opinion, much greater than pretty much anything demon slayer has So it would make anyone who has it absolutely busted
Now imagine Tanjiro with the Sage of Six Paths mode or imagine if Tanjiro was like the reincarnation of Yoriichi
