  • A stunning walk along the North Antrim coast from Ballycastle to the vertical heights of Fairhead.
Following a rough track along rugged coastline, passing long abandoned industrial workings and a magnificent waterfall before climbing around 600 feet to the high ground of Fairhead.
The cliff top can be followed closely for miles until dropping down to the coast again at Murlough Bay. Views are breath taking across to Rathlin Island and the not too distant Scotland and her Isles. Dark and wild loughs turn heads inland whilst churning waters, dolphins and boats turn heads seaward.

Ha! I thought there was an extra person when the camera followed your movement. The 3 pairs was a good twist at the end! I have my map and I think you started from the car park at the end of the road

Gordon, that's the starting point and for me is the best way to approach Fairhead - along the coast and then climbing up from sea level :-)

Love this, doing Marconi's to Murlough via the Grey Mans Path on Friday, kind of UA-cam to flag this vid up to help get me excited :-)

David, a fantastic walk which is always a great challenge, good time of year when the ferns haven't sprouted. I was there again last year and there are no trespassing signs on the track from Marconi's near to the waterfall - i politely ignored them. If you are returning from the top, again there was a no trespassing sign where you would drop back to the coast. It was a tough slog up from the Coast to the Grey Man's Path with what little track being overgrown until higher up. enjoy :-)

@@gerrymcveigh There is a REALLY grumpy old farmer up there and he is deranged. keep your heads down if you go into the no tresspassing bit. He will chase you off otherwise.

Wonderful video, evoking memories. My wife and I walked there a couple of weeks ago. Our favorite place - away from all the tourists (like us).
