  • Find an ice bath, buy one, what ever you have to do because honestly they will boost your recovery time and let you surf longer, recover quicker, aid with injury repair and boost human growth hormone, not to mention the positive effects on dopamine and your brain. My protocol is 5 minutes at 1-10 degrees C x 3 rounds per session, 1 session a day but thats not strictly required, Im simp.y addicted! Realistically all you need to do is 11 minutes a week (scientifically proven - see Huberman lab for results). Add 20 minutes of Sauna in between your ice plunge (ie x 2 rounds) at 80-100 degrees C and you’ll be maximising the benefits of both ice baths and saunas.
