No one has said it’s a thin draft, this draft and draft class has a chance to pass 83 and 96 as the greatest draft of all time, if ponds can average 20 5 and 5 and go undrafted that tells you a lot

I saw this guy in 2k MyGm and thought he was one of those auto rookies lol. he was a 70 overall so i signed him to a 2-way contract because i loved his name. then he somehow got to an 82, and now in the game he's averaging 15 points and is the front runner for rookie of the year. Lets go Shamorie haha

Is Kyle Lowry a good comp? Also I didn't know Ponds could dunk like that so he might be a more athletic Lowry. Very crafty, can shoot and defend(2.6 steals per game). Knicks need to get one of Atlanta's or Sixers' high second round picks, he's from Brooklyn and went to St. John's, it's meant to be.

For any Houston fans who think he's undersized, I watched every game of his at St. Johns. I can count on one hand how many times hes been blocked. He uses his body well and proper angles to shield the defender from the ball when he takes it to the hoop. And he's taller than Chris Paul. He just needs to bulk up a bit to defend bigger guards 1v1. He averaged almost 3 steals a game because he's a ball hawk, but can be bullied against bigger guys.

He looks talented on tape against B or C level competition. Being a lefty reminds of Harden but being undrafted troubles me. What is it that made him undraftable? How tall is he? The athletes are better in the NBA so can he improve on his ball handling, quickness and jump shot? If so he'll make the final roster if not he might need a year of seasoning in the G-league which may not be a bad thing as he learns the pro game.
He came in overweight at the combine. Thats it!
