Wow... Just Wow Jess. I am SO happy for you! You work so hard, I don't know how you do it. You just keep inspiring me to be better. Thank you for keeping me motivated.
OMGoodness, the reference to Mr. Rogers!!!!! I loved him and those segments where things were made WAS THE BEST and FAVORITE!!!! You go Jess!!! and Jeremiah!!! All the blessings for a great business!!!
You'll probably never see this comment but please please please tell me you are keeping those two super lovely magnolias on either side of the old white house! So very special! My family and I saw it early on. We are all watchers for years! Love you proud of you!!!
What about a “kit”? They sell the refillable Kcups ❤️. That was the main reason I didn’t buy a Kcup compatible machine. Then I saw the reusable cups! They work GREAT❤️! Fill them with Fair Trade & keep them out of the landfills ❤
I'm so happy for you Jess! I still have a card on my refrigerator that says ' do it scared'. I have been with you for several years now. I am amazed at all I have done because of your help. I started with a small garden. Then chickens on a quarter acre. I have been donating eggs almost every week to the local food bank and people love the fresh eggs. This year we did our first meat birds from Murray McMurrey hatchery. Now trying to cook from scratch! Thank you for everything you do Jess! It means more than you realize. I bless you, until next time.😉
Jess. When you do the Kerig-type cups, try to find ecopods to use instead of plastic. An example would be the Full Circle brand. They have ecopods. It would be perfect if your pods were also compostable. It seems a shame to have such a great product surrounded by plastic.
Stopping this video at 4:30 in to let you know how beautiful the sentiment in that poem is. That is getting copied out so I can think about that often.
I did demo’s in Sears stores for Keurig when they first came out! I never thought it would be become mainstream. If I were you, I would offer a bundle of ground coffee and the reusable K-cups. That’s more echo friendly and is something you can do now. Would make a great Christmas present! The grind needs to be medium grind as to fine just makes a mess. Look forward to tasting!
What an amazing "DREAM COME TRUE." If God is for us who can be against. Watching this amazing dream of yours, Ms. Jessica, has shown me that when one has the capacity to dream big, then one can only be expected to work hard. I am so proud of you and Jeremiah. Precious Lord, bless these wonderful dreamers.
Thankyou Jess. Please please don't use plastic k cups. Use aluminium. no plastics are recyclable 100% whatever the greenwashing. Aluminium (coated of course) is 100% recyclable and refillable.
Sweet Jess! What a joy beyond words it is to watch your dreams grow skin. I don't know if you will ever know the amount of fires that you started in bellies across the world. Thank you for sharing
I am a KCup user... I buy whole bean and grind myself. I usually grind enough for a days worth of coffee in the morning. I use reusable Kcups with unbleached paper filters. It makes a much better cup of coffee.
I purchased your coffee and it is so fresh and good. I purchased a stainless steel “k-cup” for my keurig from Amazon and it works awesome. Then I can empty the grounds and use them again for compost.
As someone who grew up in a church but isn't particularly religious/spiritual now for a variety of reasons, I really love the way you live your faith. It's so strong and you really lean into all of the good aspects I learned about growing up but didn't see reflected in the people around me, but you also just let that speak for itself and don't get preachy about it like a lot of people do. Works > words all day, and you really live that out and let your light shine. Thank you for showing me (and the rest of the internet lol) that there are still good people in the church actually living by Jesus' teachings
“Oh Beulah Land, sweet Beulah land., as on the highest mount I stand. I look away across the sea, where mansions are prepared for me, and view the shining glory shore, my heaven my home for evermore. “. What a lovely old fashioned name for your business..It brings back sweet memories growing up in southern Illinois and singing this hymn particularly during camp meetings. It conjures up my relatives that are long gone with sweet memories. I so admire your vision, your execution, your family and blooming where you are planted. May your dreams continue to expand and flourish. I bless you and yours also, till next time.
Beulah is beautiful. One thought about the K cups. So much plastic, and i don't think they're recyclable. There are reusable K cups. I'd love to see you look into selling those, too.
Oh my goodness! I saw the front of the building & I was like that reminds me of her Arkansas farm garden door with the sign! Been watching you since Ben was a little bitty. So amazing to see you do your thing & and where you are now! I still miss your Arkansas garden so I just watch Jill too so I can still see her haha...
As a business owner, I completely understand the stress! Looks like you're going about everything just right, though. Rewards will come soon! I ordered a couple ground coffee bags for my husband to try (I don't drink coffee or tea) - they were shipped recently and I'm just waiting for them. My husband is a Keurig user and has a little reusable K-cup he fills with ground coffee so he doesn't have to buy the pre-filled K-cups. I think they're only about $10. With that option, I don't think it's that important for you to try to offer K-cups. Less plastic is a good thing! :)
First off.....so glad to see you absolutely THRIVING! Your smile brings me joy! I just watched your Beulah Roasting video and I placed my first order a few days ago. I am wondering if you re-use the coffee bags. If not, then why don't you silk screen / print them with the Beulah Roasting logo and then offer them as merchandise ($25-30) OR as a prize / premium if you order $100-150.....??? You inspire me. Also......we need T-shirts with the motto of "drink good coffee grow a garden hear the earth sing" with logos
I love love love what you are doing Jess. Please keep in mind k-cups are single use plastic, and Keurig Machines do come with a multi-use cup for loose coffee. 100% behind what you are building, just something to keep in mind 😊.
Oh I am SO thrilled to see this video, made me tear up just now when I saw the notification. I love the decorating and those beams on the ceiling are gorgeous. Very well done, and my heart is so very joyful for you all. Sending lots of love your way.
I can talk for hours about the huge dreams I have, but I'm still very much in the dream stage. It is very encouraging to watch your huge dreams unfold into reality.
So amazing what you are doing for your local and larger community. If you could please encourage people to use your grounds in the re-usable K-cups instead of the disposable plastic ones, I, and the Earth, would really appreciate it. Rock on!
Love how you are always considering how to meet people where they are at. Grinding the coffee, Kcups, teas. You are always thinking of how to include more people and that is amazing.
Love the way it’s all come together! I have watched the Mr Rogers tour of the crayon factory numerous times as a kid and also as an adult - it’s fascinating! Thanks for taking us along in the same vain I adored it!
Jess’ poem sounds like it would fit into the book of psalm. ❤ It reminds me of a scripture that can be summed up as nature being proof of God’s love for us. God bless you for sharing your light, sister. ☀️
What an amazing vision coming to fruition! The coffee and tea that we've purchased from Beulah has been terrific. Thanks for shring your progress. And congrats on the success!
That is so exciting! I can't wait to taste your coffee! PLEASE please please make the kcups compostable. The less plastic the better. There are so many options now for compostable materials. Can coffee be packaged in anything else but foil or plastic?
Jessica you always astound me with how many plates you can keep spinning at once! I am SO appreciative of your insistence to deal with Fair Trade Only, and to grow your biz with helping others in mind. I wish you and Jeremiah all the best with all that you do! ps- your poem was beautiful!
I use the refillable type K cup for my coffee maker. This way I can grind the beans myself. I started doing this after I found I didn't really like the taste of coffee in the "ready-made" k cups. I have placed an order and I am really excited to try your coffee.
Hi Sweetie...you know who I am. Congrats on finally getting th8se beans bagged and 2 us all. Can't wait 2 get mine! I couldn't believe yr color choices on the front and inside. I have a pumpkin orange front door and alm9st same color green trim with an antique looking brick on the front if our house. Made my heart sing!!!🎶 One day I would love 2 sit and have a coffee ☕with you in yr new establishment even 8f its only for 15 mins! 🤩🫶
Ordered the dark roast today, and sticker/magnet mystery bundles 3 days ago! I love supporting genuine annointed families like yours. God bless Jess & Sweet Miah! Now I just need some Chicken & Dumplin seeds ❤
Been here with you for a good bit and Jess you are such a treasure! Thank you for being YOU! You don’t know me but I consider you a Best Friend! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and blessings! ✌🏻🙏🏼❤️
Hey Jess, just a thought about places to look for single origin, shade grown coffee. We travel to Costa Rica on a regular basis for vacations. Over the years we’ve gone on several birding/nature tours with a man named Johan Chaves. He loves good coffee and has made a side line of tasting Costa Rican coffees and rating them. He travels the country as a tour guide and has knowledge of many family coffee farmers. If you ever consider Costa Rica for your coffee, he would be an excellent person to meet and get some advice from. He lives in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area.
@maryandroydeibert, I so appreciate you mentioning this. I found a Cattledog Roasters that sells Costa Rican coffee beans that I have fallen in love with. I am hoping that Jess and Mish decide to carry that as well!! Thanks again for the mention 😊
Yay!!!!🎉❤ Your coffee business plan reminds me of the Nomadic Movement. For those not familiar with the NM, they are an ex pat young couple living in Panama and own a roastery in Vermont. They source all of their coffee from farms in Panama. They recently hid 48 bags of high dollar coffee in 48 states in 48 days. Very inspiring!
Mr Rogers!! 💗!! Loved those "how it was made" videos!! Colored pencils and maybe cheese?? Loved it all EXCEPT when he changed his shoes. 5yr old me was convinced I could smell his feet 🤣🤣
I have a keurig and i use k cups very randomly. I have the insert for the machine and grind my beans and make my coffee . Those pods are expensive and most all of them are not recyclable. And i get to use the grounds in my garden😊....just me but i would put k cups at the bottom of your list....
My great grandmothers name was Beulah. I LOVE good coffee!!! My swedish grandmother used to spoon feed me coffee (mostly cream & sugar, LOL) when I was 5.
Can you please make a refriderator magnet out of the sticker? You have made my day! I order organic coffe beans out of Casper Wyoming, it is organic but I am not aware how it is sourced, plus I feel as though I know you and you are amazing! My daughter in law is also named Jessica, I am especially happy that I learned a new bible verse this evening, thank you for that as well Jess, I am ordering some dark roast come payday, opposite of you, I tend to drink more coffee in the winter and more tea in the summer and spring when working in the garden, sipping hot tea right now and just put another log on the fire, when you get everything up and running I would love to come by and enjoy some live music with my coffee. You are amazing and I am super proud of all your progress! Heart hugs from Nicole in Wyoming and God bless you your family and this wonderful heartwarming family business you are doing such an amazing job of creating! I love your unique creative ideas and seeing them all come together thank you for sharing!
Awe..Jess.. This is awesome.. Just made my order for the Dark Roasted whole Beans.. Excited to share these dreams and flavors with all.. Love Daniel's creative words and how all this has come together so well for Daniel to be here and part of your Dream.. We never stop praying for God's Will in every day living... Love you ❤️ ⚰️☕🍂
Beautiful dreams coming forward. I can just imagine the aroma there while sipping my coffee and reading on the couch. Jess , I’d be proud to hang the poem you wrote. It’s touching and beautiful! That’s another thought to put into your gardening bonnet 👨🌾
WOWW! I love gardening and poetry and spirituality and coffee and the Earth and watching this journey you are on. I wrote the poem down and referenced November 26, 2023 as a publishing date in case I cite it for a paper (English Master's in progress) :). I'd like to make sure my citation is accurate, please correct me if it is already published elsewhere. Congrats Sowers family! I ordered 2 bags of coffee, can't wait to ethically sip knowing that it is fair trade and used for helping those in food deserts!
I ordered a bag of your coffee when I watched this video the day you posted it and I just brewed my first cup and I AM IN LOVE! It is smooth and perfect. You have a committed customer. Great work and keep it up!
God Bless You an your Family Jess. I love where your heart an mind is. Certainly, u are not taking the "easy" way running an expanded these ventures. I too, have big dreams. I too, want to help my community. But, this is your time!!!!! Its awesome to see.TRULY. Me an my partner Juanita are in the early stages of growing our family business. I wish the very best for u an your family, continue sticking to your values. Let it become contagious!!! God is Good. Love u love your content
Mr. McFeely!!! That was my absolute favorite part of Mister Rogers too! (that and the kingdom puppets) I reference it all that time haha. Loved the tour
Hi Jess, I’m from Michigan, but my mom is from Newfoundland as well…just like Jeremiah’s Nan. 😊 so I know all about a cuppa hot tea! Love it!! Will you be selling merch like a mesh tea ball infuser to use with your teas? Just an idea. I’m definitely a tea drinker more than coffee. I’m so happy all this is coming to fruition for you guys and how you have it all intertwined with scripture and God’s blessing all over it! 💕🙏
Yay!! You guys are soooo impressive with all you've been able to accomplish in just the last couple of years. I'm so happy for you and so glad that such a wonderful family is stewarding such important work. I see all good things for you all! Got my first bag ordered and can't wait to be able to visit the coffee shop in person someday 💖
Your coffee is the best coffee my husband has ever had. He is the coffee drinker in the house and when I made him a cup I didn't tell him i used a different coffee. He instantly knew it was different and better than what he was drinking before. Thanks for sharing this coffee with the world.
I'd love to see a mug with the "drink good coffee grow a garden hear the earth sing" tag line on it. Such a beautiful message 😊
YES!!!
Handmade pottery, of course! 😉
Yes!
I would love a mug like that too!
❤ this idea!
Wow... Just Wow Jess. I am SO happy for you! You work so hard, I don't know how you do it. You just keep inspiring me to be better. Thank you for keeping me motivated.
Your friend definitely has an eye for design! So beautiful!

Picking up our Beulah coffee this weekend!!! ☕💗☕

Yes, that's a great idea! Those plastic K cups are such a mess for the environment.
Maybe you could offer those refillable K-cups at the roastery. It would be great to avoid all that waste from the throwaway cups. 💚
I don’t know how anybody drinks those K-cups it a very small step up from instant coffee. I hand grind my coffee and French press.

Yes sell these! Could sell in recyclable packets just tear open and dump in the reusable kerug cup
Yes! This is how I do it! I got two of them and they are so handy and less expensive then the k-cups.
Also, a pour over is a cheap and simple option for a cup at a time!
Oh, how I loved Mr. Rogers!❤
Thanks for the full tour of Beulah Roasting Company. Congrats on pursuing and living your dream!

I’ve never really thought of offering poetry prints but that’s a lovely idea

A true picture of Jesus.
Just now got to the part where you showed the front of the building and oh my goodness Jess! What you and Miah have done is so amazing. ❤
I loved your Tea and Roasted coffee. Thank you for your hard work God bless you.
Love the way it’s all come together! I have watched the Mr Rogers tour of the crayon factory numerous times as a kid and also as an adult - it’s fascinating! Thanks for taking us along in the same vain I adored it!
Beautiful! That poem moved my heart and made my eyes well up a little.😢 It resonated with me.
Also: What a lovely space! ✨
K cup machines have reusable inserts so they could still use your coffee!
Aahh, happy for you. My mom is coming to visit me in a week. Shes bringing me some coffee from my grandparents tree's in El Salvador . Cant wait. ☕
Jess’ poem sounds like it would fit into the book of psalm. ❤
It reminds me of a scripture that can be summed up as nature being proof of God’s love for us.
God bless you for sharing your light, sister. ☀️
As an anxiety queen, the decaf option is something I am so excited for. I so appreciate you thinking of those who don’t want/can’t have caffeine! 💚

Yay! Will the subscription folks get a sample of tea too? ❤
Love everything about this! Especially the name! Beulah Land is my all time favorite hymn! I pray God blesses you in this endeavor!

Hey Jess, just a thought about places to look for single origin, shade grown coffee. We travel to Costa Rica on a regular basis for vacations.

Mr. McFeely!!! That was my absolute favorite part of Mister Rogers too! (that and the kingdom puppets) I reference it all that time haha. Loved the tour
just made a cup and sat down to watch and look what popped up :)
😲 I am so impressed. You guys are building the dream. 🤗
I love the poem you wrote it is beautiful! I bet my Pastor would love it too! ❤
Proud of the amazing accomplishments Jess.

Wow Jess this is really wonderful. I am excited for you guys. I wish I could come see it in person but I live in Oregon. God bless you.
Your coffee is the best coffee my husband has ever had. He is the coffee drinker in the house and when I made him a cup I didn't tell him i used a different coffee. He instantly knew it was different and better than what he was drinking before. Thanks for sharing this coffee with the world.
Congratulations, Jess. Your facility is as lovely as your ethos!
