Hey folks, I love these 3 devices and I think you will too! Be sure to subscribe and check out my other videos! I have some great videos coming soon and if you subscribe you'll be notified when they publish. Thanks for watching!
Picked up a used Weber Performer, spent a couple of days cleaning it then smoked a chuck and turkey. I love this video, and plan on getting the smoke and sizzle and the vortex. You have almost sold me on the spider, just can’t justify the cost yet. Thanks
Thanks for watching and the kind words! I promise you’ll love both the smoke and sizzle and vortex. They have changed the way I cook for sure. The spider grills venom is expensive, I get it. I got one as gift and bought the other. But when you can justify it, it is so worth the money. I think it’s important people learn how to use the kettle vents for temp control…it’s like a rite of passage for kettle cooks. That’s why I have put out videos about temp control without the spider. What happens if your spider has a glitch or you go out of town and the place you’re at has a kettle..but no spider! Good to know how to cook without it for sure! Thanks again and enjoy your kettle!
Glad to hear that! Hope the videos are of benefit to you! As you can probably guess, I love my kettles. I enjoy the offset smoker as well, but you just can’t beat the versatility of the Weber Kettle! I greatly appreciate you watching and thanks for the nice words!
I love the Vortex. I do HIGHLY recommend swapping out the standard chrome plated grate for at least the Weber Gourmet version where the center can be removed but ideally a proper stainless steel grate with a removable center. That high heat can rust out a grate quickly. Hunsaker smokers makes some great gates among other mods.
I’m a Weber fan and always enjoy your content. Been seriously considering getting a 26” kettle mainly for low and slow. After watching this I think the 26 paired with the Spider device and SNS accoutrements will be perfect. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching! Yeah, I really like mine. The single piece is a hang up for me..probably because my garage is a freaking mess and I often can't find the drip tray, lol! Thanks again!
