Boogie Nights is one of my favourite movies. I loved Heather Graham as Roller Girl. I think Roller Girl is similar to the roles Drew Barrymore does for sure, but I agree the movie is somewhat edgy. She probably did the right thing for her career. The only exception is if she wanted to head in a more dramatic, more challenging direction but to be honest I don’t think Drew has those chops. She has great comedic timing however.
Drew could’ve just gone on to live the rest of her life as a legendary Hollywood actress and film producer but she just HAAAAD to ruin it by sharing how awkward and EXTRA she is everyday on her talk show
I don’t know if it would have done anything for her career but I love that she was offered the role
