  • Sardar Udham is a powerful movie that tells about a devastating time in Indian history. It's devastating and sad but should be required viewing. More people should know about this atrocity.

I was child when I visited Amritsar 8,10 maybe. I visited golden temple, jalianwala bhag, Atari border.
I remember my father just sit their in badh after visiting golden temple, he said too tired to walk.
As I grew up I realised why he (national level swimmer and officer at Indian Air force) couldn't walk that day.

British 🇬🇧💂 killed minimum 200 Million people during their 200+ years of colonization between 1700 to 1947.
And still people don't know about their brutality. Very sad.

At 40:00 minutes, the photograph retrieved from his fist is Bhagat Singh.
He was another revolutionary, who played a key role in India's struggle for freedom.
Bhagat Singh and Sardar Udham Singh were comrades at HSRA.

Indians were very capable even back then...The Brits were lucky that Indians were/are not vicious and crazy otherwise with that kind of Hatred imagine the damage that an evil person, who has been subjected to so much violence and injustice, could have done if he were evil....Indians never targeted any innocent Brit who wasn't involved in the massacre...

the graphic details of brits brutality can not be shown on TV as the writer of RRR stated in an interview , they have cut fingers, chopped hands of artists and hand looms crafts mans in many parts of India to destroy the industry in India and taxed Indians and shipped cotton and other fabrics to UK so they can make profits on finished product , many such resources are looted from India from diamond's to spices , they are soo cruel that it can't make past the censorship so what has been shown is just the tip of an iceberg , only the ones who faced the oppression can really understand the complete pain.

And General Dwear cruelly ordered the British army to mercilessly random fire on those innocent disarmed people including many old people women and children also have died in them...and there was only one exit door which was captured by the soldiers....for this the people never escaped and survived😢😢😢😠😡😡💔💔💔

Gawkadal Massacre. Kashmir 1990. Indian Armed Forces open fired on peaceful protesters, killing hundreds. This was not the only massacre, one in a dozen. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1990_Gawkadal_massacre
People don't learn from the past. I appreciate this movie for its depiction, may help younger Indian generations to understand oppression, propaganda, imperialism.

the real thing was the bomb thrown by bhagat singh was smoke bomb no one was hurt and he was 30 feets away and got arrested intesanally surrending himself and shouting long live reabellion, so when they got executed so whole nation wokes up and built a fury against British empire, that's why udham's sister said that everyone wants to kiss the noose. that what Bhagat Singh did before hanging, he was a hero who also said every life is priceless don't take it, his sacrifice is still has a deep place in everyone's heart

I know you did a bunch of regional language movies in the beginning and they don't recommend much hindi movies to you, but I'm sure a huge audience would appreciate the hindi movie reactions. They are just such high productions
