So many don't have enough monsters to make it worth it for myself. Cows and Chaos are the only ones I really actively seek out and play. They really really really need to up density in all of the maps.
I'd have to go with #WorldStone because it's a huge chunk of free exp. Baal runs are the meta for power leveling out of Normal into Nightmare, rinse repeat for Nightmare into Hell. So naturally a Terrorized Baal Walk/Run is the way to 99.
That was the goal, I wanted to do a Ranking after I hit 99 so that the information would come from the experience of actually having played in all of them.
Personally i would love to see this list consolidated down significantly. the high ranked zones have easy access to a waypoint and have multiple levels and superunique/bosses to farm. something like Dark wood and Far Oasis are basically a throw-away roll and encourage players to spam new games which doesn't help the already burdened servers. I would group everything based on a waypoint and a logical endpoint and make sure that at least 3 areas are included in each grouping. IE Including Black marsh in the Tower, or Outer cloister + Tamoe with Pit seem like low hanging fruit. same with palace cellar down to arcane, Barracks into Jail, or Stony Trist and Cows. Give players a logical play path and cut it down to 15ish options over the current 36 as at present the pool is so dilute that you rarely see your preferred zone(s).
Nice ranking, far more accurate than the other early videos. I ran 2 lvl 99s through this season and i'm currently working on my HC character, so i've spent a lot of time in the terror zones. I agree completely that the kurast sewers is the worst TZ there is. Whenever that zone comes on everyone in my group is like "ahh might go do something else besides D2 for the next hour, see you guys soon". Also the bloody foothills got F Tier from some other youtubers, which i disagreed with. It's not great but if you are running it with a group you can get decent XP from it. Like you said, clear out the top but then our group splits into 2, staying within XP range, and we just go straight down, killing anything in our path, once we hit town we just restart.
I kinda like Flayer Jungle. I'd rate the accessibility much higher than Spider Forest. I enter it from the Lower Kurast wp, kill Stormtree and then just stick to either wall until I find Great Marsh or Spider Forest, then I turn around and explore the rest. But I usually skip the dungeon unless I'm able to teleport, running around down there isn't much fun.
Flayer is underrated, but i also think one factor is your character class. If you are a javazon then flayer is great, but it might not be so great for other classes. Id also usually skip the dungeon and just clear the outside as the dungeon can be a bit dangerous.
They really need to revert the cow level nerfs that were put in places an eternity ago. With the new leveling and magic finding methods in the game at this point, the cow level is just... bad by comparison. Making it better wouldn't break anything from what I can see.
Favorite is the A2 Sewers thats where I found my Windforce. Still has an open socket lol. I do have a question tho, the grand charms that drop in 90+ TZ .. can they be re rolled like Baal charms ? That +skill 45 to life looks tasty
Of course Chaos Sanctuary is #1 but I've always enjoyed act 1. I usually run the TZ's only if CS or any act 1 area . I know The Crypt and Mausoleum are low density but I got my early Jah there this season so I keep running it.
Can you plz clear this up. I’ve read several times that terror zones do not effect the drops of super uniques or world bosses but you say it ups Andy’s drops.
It's been tested and is easily verifiable by watching what they drop and comparing it to the TC class list. You just kill them and look for drops that they shouldn't be able to drop. Like for instance Andariel can't drop a berserkers axe or a diadem under normal circumstances so if she drops even a regular white diadem or a regular white berserkers axe you know for a fact her tc class did go up. Some bosses can't be affected by the level increase because they are already above lvl 99 or at it. Baal in hell is unaffected Because he is already 99 or higher. Andariel, duriel, Summoner, Countess, Mephisto, and diablo are lower than 99. However Diablo is lvl 94, which means he already has a TC87 ranking and drops everything anyways. So no change there. It's already been confirmed on stream that the drops of blood moor in a 96 tz can drop griffons eye diadem, and that clickables also have their TC class raised by finding the items shouldn't drop from the clickables in that area. It's no different to confirm for bosses. Look up the bosses TC class and find items that they can't drop and then look for them when you farm that boss in the TZ.
@@GGMentor sorry I’m only a couple months new. I guess it’s just confusing how each super unique/boss changes during terrorized. For instance Diablo can’t drop griffons eye. When terrorized he still can’t. Is there a list somewhere of what super unique or bosses get tc change when terrorized?
@@chucknorris5907 so Diablo is level 94 which means you should be able to drop Griffin's eye. If you can't it's because he's been deliberately prevented from dropping it. So no matter how high you bring his level it doesn't matter cuz he's been banned from dropping that item.
If they up density 5-10x I'll start running tristram, until then it feels like pindle runs with a moving portal point. Not worth chasing imo. They could easily team tristram up with cows since u have to go there anyways, be a lot better use of time.
Worldstone keep is propably great but reason i dont like it (in hc) is those damn gloom/dark soul type monsters. Also has ripped char because of stupid dolls in throne room, thats the second reason. Just not worth the risk for me.
I disagree about Pit exp. I noticed that if it's TZ and players 8, the exp is very good. Of course it's not like Worldstone or Chaos, but very good still.
I mean I have pit a B rank in EXP that's several ranks from the worst. S, A, B, C, & D I feel like a B rank for The Pit is a good placement. S is things like Chaos, and the pit was definitely not directly under chaos at an A rank
Yes but his video much like mine Prior to their actual release was rife with inaccuracies, and lack of experience in the zones. This is a much more comprehensive listing, with my 300 hours of experience leveling to 99 in these zones being used to rank them properly. Because when you level to 99 you literally have no choice but to do every TZ no matter how bad it is. So when I talk about these Zones, I am talking about them from endless hours of mind numbing runs in them.

Durance of hate lvl 3 is awesome. Got 6 grand charms to reroll, arachs and lots of gems. Perfect for hunting those 45 lifers
