Political question : Do you think Steve Biko would be proud of the current climate black people are facing?
What are some of the similarities of what he saw in his time to our current time?
Do you think if Steve Biko was alive today would he be part of the African revolution which you are part of?
Also great video should have a question and answer session about your books well as time goes by and people joining in your book club. Great job😊

Amazing Questions and a great suggestion. I should have a Q&A as a follow up video after the book review 🤔. Thank you!
      Answers :
      1. No I don't think so. Steve Biko did not want an integration of the majority into the minority's world. He wanted a clear identification that a country in Africa should follow African customs including religion. It seems as though we forgot about putting African Knowledge first and now we as African people have also forgotten about it. He started Black Consciousness because knowledge of self for him was more important than freedom cause he knew that freedom without consciousness is just an illusion.
      2. He saw a people who lacked love for themselves and who were so damaged mentally that they could easily adopt anything that came from anyone and loose themselves. I think that's clearly visible today. He saw white liberals who thought they were "helping" black people from the struggle by trying to take over the struggle and try to teach Black people the exact of the struggle they were going through instead of facing their fellow white people. But they could not do that because it would threaten the benefits that came with being white.
      3. Of course. True freedom is when an individual is free Spirituality and mentally. Once we free those then economy, politics and all other needs are just a matter of time and there's hope. But today many people are fighting for the economy on people who are still mentally enslaved. That will be meaningless. The people will go back to where they were because the mindset and Spirituality is not dealt with.
Again, thank you for the brain picking questions. Looking forward to more engagements😁🖤👏🏿

@@afrohubbysbooi I agree that all people should follow the customs and beliefs of their ancestors. Please don't forget that the Roman Empire, basically, 'killed' paganism, (whereby people lived in freedom), in Europe, by force, and coerced my own ancestors to worship their 'God', and enslaved them to the system that we actually have to this day, worldwide. It's time folks, it's time...
