It's struggling for life. You are imagining that it is happy. ,🤐🤐🤐
Since the bison is young, and not with a herd, its probably a young male that just reached breeding age. In the summer, males separate and go off on their own or in little bacherlor groups. The young have a high rate of mortality because they are still learning things - like how to fend off bears.
yeah ive seen bison calves and this guy is probably around weening age, maybe a little older
It's nature but still hard to watch for me 😳
Teen male got away from the herd or was ran off
I'm from a small town my adopted dad owned a strip mine lake. I saw some nature stuff I once witnessed a crow crying to catch this big bass. And the bass was trying to get the crow. I said the bass would get the crow. My adopted dad said the crow will get the bass. Well bass had himself KFC that dad.
One time he had 30 geese in the yard with babies. My adopted mom told us to go out and scare them off. We said hell no we stay in we arnt that stupid. She said we were sissies we replied yep we are sissies and proud of it. Better to be a sissies then a dern fool. She took a broom and said I handle this I'm not afraid watch this. My adopted dad said yea we will watch. She went outside she swung that brook screaming. That was all it took all 30 jumped her we sat and watched and laughed. She came in screaming saying why didn't you help me they attacked me. He told her we are sissies remember.

Tiger or lion
@@Shane-zx4ps I assume you are joking. A full grown grizzly bear would rip a lion or tiger to shreds one on one. Wouldn't even be a fair fight.
@@chuckpollard9717 a hippo or African elephant might be too much for a grizzly bear to handle though. A human with a big enough gun is the single most capable predator on the planet though
This is hard to watch! He is eating him alive! Cats are far better killers, this is just pure carnage!
That's the brutality of Nature, you should learn to accept it
lol you should go help barehanded next time
Cats have more competition as predators. Bears gona do how do they do, why bother to kill when youre eating already
Cats are not any better, they like to play with their kill before they don't even eat it
Top speed of a Grizzly: 35 mph for about 100 yards
Top sped of a Bison: 35 mph and can maintain speed for an hour
Guess it boils down to who is smarter...
Watch “Grizzly Bear Kills Caribou RAW footage *no annoying music” if you think a grizzly can only run at top speed for 100 yards. Anyone who thinks they can outrun a griz should watch this video.
You know that's a "Domesticated" bear, he biting the Bison's back🤣😅😂
?
Where is PETA ORG to help the Bison???
Bear knows that if he gets into the backbone and spine then that is it
Where TF is the audio?!
The bear was probably embarrassed about how long it took him to kill this bison.
Yearling. Any bigger and that bear probably wouldn't have tried
Tough to watch, but it’s nature. That poor bison suffered terribly, he was basically eaten alive. I saw adult bison in the field beyond them, I’m surprised they didn’t come to the rescue of a calf.
This is what happens when you cut off someone trying to get a parking spot
If you listen close enough.. you can hear the dad yell "Bison" 😢
Wait, people hike in this area, and they think that they are safe because they carry bear spray??? Wow, i would have to have a shotgun.
A shotgun wouldn’t work either! Next time you’re in a gun store, look for the huge 6 shooter pistols that are meant to kill bears close up!😳
While you watch this, somewhere in the world, a chicken runs around with no head.
That's a lot of work. Makes me glad that when I want some meat all I have to do is go to the grocery store and buy it.
😂
Come on you pussy. Go get ur meat like this bear did.
@@Noneofyourbusinessbro it’s just a bear.

Did they cut the audio for censorship?
That was an old bison that has seen better days, that's why that bear was able to tackle it down. RIP old bison.
Teen. Even the females are larger than that and they move as a herd. Perhaps a young male
lol, not old, very young actually. nice try though bisonologist
*You know nothing about bears if you think a bison can take down a bear.*
@@theotherside931 That animal was alone, now go back and read what I said:
Wolves and grizzly bears can kill adult bison, but predation has little effect on the bison population. Bison usually face their attackers and defend themselves as a group, making them more difficult to kill than animals like elk that run away. The size of bison also plays a role in persuading predators to look for an easier meal.
Wrong it wasn't even full grown
That young bisons teenage attitude got him into deep water. And he can't swim
The thrust on those head shakes is extremely powerful.

This bison are old?
Nature is brutal
Surprised the bear didn't try to drown the bison as soon as they got in the water. This is a common technique for bears around water especially when their prey is large animals.
I think a tiger or lion would have a hard time in a fight with a grizzly, but when it comes to killing a prey animal, the tiger then the lion is just a better and more efficient killer.
One slap from a fully grown brown bear has decapitated adult moose knocking it's head clean off. Lions hunt in packs due to being physically weaker and less powerful than tigers. Yet neither one is on the level of a decent sized brown bear.
@@ianmcfadden2794 We'll I was going on videos I've seen, perhaps it's because Lions and Tigers on average have larger Canine teeth, possibly a greater bite force meaning they can do more damage faster than a bear. A large brown bear probably has greater overall strength, match only by a polar bear. If a bear can take the head of a moose of with one swipe, I sure would like to see that video!
@@ianmcfadden2794 A grizzly bear slapping off the head of a moose sounds like total bullshit.

The bears stubby feet going across the bridge is funny
