Buddhism talks about love without attachment. It’s a nuanced idea, but essentially just means loving a person without care/concern for what you get out of it. If they’re in your life, great, but if not, you’re still happy because you just want the best for them.
Amber is pure attachment. She cares what the people she “loves” does for her. I’m not just talking about being a home healthcare aid either, she’s attached to how they make her feel.

Amber only shows herself from her boobs up mostly. The whole of her arms aren't usually in the frame either. I'm not sure people can accurately gage her size until they are next to them. But for example I'm 112 elbee's.. she is 4 1/2 of me. That's a car with 4 adults and a 2nd grader in it of people!! That's humongous. She's got to be worried about her heart health at least.

I feel like this has been happening very clearly ever since her weightloss surgery era last year. Maybe before but I definitely heard it almost video per video since late 2022 or early 2023.

I love how she acts as though eating once or twice a day is totally crazy and unheard of, makes her such an individual and skinny queen. Like, a good majority of people only eat twice a day lol
crazy that u say that by doing the exact same thing. Ppl usually eat or should eat 3 meals a day. That doesn't make u fat or means you're over eating, but whatever,you're the skinny queen after all!

Her mental health is in a good place because she has a new crush. I have BPD as well and it's the initial high of finding a new favourite person. Which, btw, is not a term you use in a "hihi this is my favourite person in the world"-way but with Borderline your favourite person is like an addiction. But obviously girly pop doesn't know that because after getting diagnosed she did 0 research.

Just cutting sodium and carbs for a few days she’d drop so much water weight. I’ve dropped over 6lb literally overnight (weighed two days in a row) because I’d had a carb and sodium heavy day and drank a tonne of water and then went back to my usually food and water intake the next few days

It's the start of a new cycle for her. New crush helps her lose a few pounds, she starts slacking off, suddenly she has a medical problem and can't anymore, then she just never does it again and things go downhill from there.

I don’t think it’s shallow not to want to date someone who can’t do extremely basic activities with you due to a self inflicted condition that they refuse to improve. I think that’s what broke her and Feline up - Amber kept promising her to lose weight, get WLS, etc so they could do fun stuff and travel, and never followed through
There comes a point where it’s not longer shallow. People who are rude or dismissive towards people who are slightly overweight because they see them as less-than for being a bit chubby = shallow
Not being attracted to a human manatee the size/weight of 4 average adults is entirely reasonable. I’ve been obese and never thought negatively of anyone who didn’t find my size attractive because it really wasn’t. Not just in a self deprecating way, it objectively is not an attractive look

The conversation around
not seeing somebody for their size, race or flaws is so ridiculous and self-important. You need to see someone's race to understand their culture. You need to look at their size to understand their future. And you need to look at their flaws to know if you can overcome them or if it's something that you want. Only EXTREME self importance will make you only look at nothing. Once again she has just admitted she absolutely has no boundaries anywhere.

As someone with severe bpd I hate how she talks about it. She’s manic which isn’t possible with bpd, she says there’s no specific meds for it which is WRONG there’s tons of medication options, there dbt and cbt, and I found schema therapy was the most helpful. She has no real gauge of what is normal.
Technically, she is right. There are no *specific* meds for BPD. There are, however, medications that can control the symptoms associated with BPD. I am diagnosed with it, too, and I take meds for it (along with therapy.) I guess it’s really semantics at this point, but she isn’t totally wrong.
@@AnnabelleLee_ there also isn’t specific other meds for ocpd like she’s claimed to have. But there IS medication treatment. There isn’t specific bpd medications yet but combining medications properly and making sure it all works right for you is vital. She’s TECHNICALLY right which is why she’s saying that at all but there isn’t NO medication treatment for bpd either. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for meds.
@hopeadler507 right. Which is why I said she’s technically correct. I’m not arguing with you; I also wouldn’t be here without the slew of medications I take to manage my BPD symptoms. I obviously don’t know her and I don’t pretend to understand what she means when she says that there are no medications for BPD. She may just be saying it to excuse her not being proactive about getting treatment; she could also be saying it because it is technically true. Again, I don’t know her.

i am a fat woman who is in a relationship. I struggle with a lot of the same anxieties/worries about my size as amber does, but i think you’re right by saying that “seeing size” is definitely real. it’s not like my boyfriend isn’t aware that i’m fat, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love me. he wants me to be healthy and there’s nothing wrong with that, i think it can be a healthy thing to talk about in a relationship if gone about in the right way.

i do think there's a difference between not seeing someone's size and not seeing someone FOR their size. the latter, to me, means they see her as a human being beyond just her weight, which a lot of people (most, even?) wouldn't. i think reassuring her that they see the person and not just the body is appropriate when ppl of her size are often seen merely as spectacles.
physical attraction is of course important in most relationships but i think that if you are at such an extreme weight it's trickier to navigate that aspect because the people who would be attracted to her *for* her weight/body are likely f3tish1sts (f33d3rs) who would want to keep her at that weight instead of encourage her to try to reach a healthier place. very dangerous and scary. additionally, when childhood trauma is a contributing factor to someone reaching a very high weight i'm sure it feels better to know that your partner sees you for *you*, not your body.

I understand what she is saying about not seeing someones weight. Out of all my exs they were all different shapes,sizes, and race. But one thing in common is the personality type, which is what draws me to them. My current relationship has been going strong for 12 years and they are on the heavier side and i honestly do see it, but when I think about them, i never see the weight.
