Congratulations on you 1K! Just found you and cant get over your beautiful collection and the cutest pup (Lexy) on the planty UA-cam! Subscribed and will be binge watching more of your videos tonight!
The Aurea leaf melting is *unfortunately* very common in plants with Aurea variegation. Happens to mine as well and have seen that happen to Monstera Aureas too. Not really sure what causes it or how to prevent it but it seems to be a common issue, not necessarily anything wrong with your individual plant.
Hi I brought a alocasia low rider from lidl and the leaves went weird I had to cut of 4 leaves left me with one😢 put a bag over it and a tiny reservoir and now 2 more leaves are coming 😊
Hi😅 I have seen your recent videos and about your dilemma to buy from the seller again. Yes, I agree that they have a great selection of hoyas and other plants. But their customer support was great. I guess they sent me another begonia but it also came poorly and died in a day. I live in Germany and the shop is from NL, so I am not sure why the shipping is bad. I wrote them in the note while ordering that please hydrate the sensitive plants before shipping and still they arrived dried. But it is what it is. Probably hoyas and aroids are more robust to recover from dehydrated shipping. So good luck with your plant journeys and love your collection and videos ❤🎉😊

CONGRATS on 1K!!! I'm watching this 9 days late because I was on vacation.
Thank you! 💚 hope you had a nice time! I saw on instagram looked beautiful 😍
@@myjunglestory It really was!
Yea I have several Alocasia but they are pest magnets. I use diluted neem oil with castille soap…working well. 😊
I’ve started using horticultural soap so 🤞🏼the smell is a bit off putting though so need to find another one 🫣
Thank you for the long video-I love them! Fingers crossed for the poorly plants! Xxxxx
Thank you I always worry if the videos are too long but I didn’t want to split it up. 🤞🏼💚
i fell asleep watching this and started dreaming that i was repotting all of my alocasias 🤣
I do exactly the same thing 😂
I love your accent! It’s so unique! Until you said you were in Belgium, I would have said, you had a British accent, with a Southern accent USA twang!
I did live in England for 8 years so definitely some of that in there 😂

Thank you I’ll have to do some experimenting to try and prevent this 💚
@@myjunglestory please share if you discover the cause 🤗

Thats great! Alocasia love humidity. Ever since I got a humidifier my Alocasias are so much happier.

It is a shame considering they have a really nice selection of plants. Thank you I appreciate it 🌿🥰💚
Hi what fertiliser do you use for Alocasia in pon?
At the moment I use any fertiliser that says it’s for all substrates. Struggling to get my hands on the ones I really love which is liquid gold leaf
I just got a frydek. Ho😢do I know if it's sport or variegated? One leaf 🌿 all green and one with a forth of white
From what I’ve seen sport is more green variegation so if it is white I would say its variegated 💚
I have a silver dragon and the stems have these spots on them. They weren't there when I got it. Do you know what it might be?
What colour are the spots?
@myjunglestory they look punk
@@totalvamp792 strange. I wish I could help you but I haven’t experienced that with any alocasia. Could maybe be fungal…
@myjunglestory that's what I was thinking. What would you use for fungus?
Hi, what kinds of media are you using for the reporting?
That’s fluval stratum 👍🏼 magic stuff
