Madonna is credited for elevating the pop music video into an art form. She’d spare no expense in producing some of the most iconic mv’s in pop music history. She’s mastered the craft of music videos. She’s received numerous awards for her mv’s including titles like “Queen of MTV” and “Queen of Videos”. She has over 80 official mv’s in her videography. In this mv, she’s brought into the mainstream pop music culture the otherwise unknown gay underground ball room “vogueing“ fashion and dance art form of NYC. Glad you’re enjoying Madonna’s music and artistry.❤😊
One of Madonna's biggest hits. Massively successful. Vogueing is a dance trend started in the underground gay scene of the late 1980s. Madonna brought it mainstream. Gorgeous video. Zariah, you would fit right into the aesthetic of the video!
" Beauty's where you find it " Thats what im talkig bout . The sexiest thing is feeling good in your own skin... and feeling the good in someone elses skin 🤣🤣
This song for a long time was a dance floor filler. It was also the cause of several VRI's that's Vogue Related injuries. When you get 100 partially inebriated queens on a dance floor thrusting their arms all over the place and doing splits on the floor someone is going to get hurt. When someone came on the floor who could really bring the fantasy, you got out of the way and just let them do their thing. What category are we on right now? Glad that she expanded this art form from black and latino drag queens and made it safe for WASP's like to me to get into.
Hey, firstly I want to emphasise that I am in no way being funny. But I was curious of the title of your video "First time hearing Madonna's Vogue' song/video, is this true...seeing it was released in 1990?
The live performance of this song at the 1990 MTV VMAs was iconic 🔥
still is!
everything is iconic. It was formerly awesome.
The world changed after "VOGUE"! ❤

Yes this is true, surprisingly I wasn't exposed much to Madonna growing up since 96.
I am not looking at her but you
Vogue is from the 90s…
This video was a big deal when it came out.
Great Reaction, you use great vocabulary to describe this video.
See you next time ...
