I'm glad Roy Disney got to see Walt's Dream in Florida come true, and I'm sure Walt had a great view of it. They made the Magic!

Someone told Roy Disney it was a shame Walt never got to see Disney World. Roy said, "He saw it first, that's why you're seeing it now." That was one on of these documentaries, I think it was the American Originals one.

I have been to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and it's an absolutely fantastic place. Walt Disney was certainly one of the most influential men to have ever lived, and he was very successful. I wish Mr. Disney was still alive to see the outcome of how it turned out. I have heard somewhere that Walt himself would attend the park (Disneyland) and ride the rides with the kids. What an amazing video. :)

What a wonderful man Walt was. Wish he was still here to see and be apart of everything that has been created since he's been gone. He would love it all! Great video. Glad we are able to see clips like this! Thank you!! - Cam and Dani

Some people say one man cant change the world. Walt Disney did so, and even made a 2nd world to prove it! Im 17 but he is my idol, and hes the best one. All he ever did is want to make people happy!

iluvhoneydew hi honey dew. My friends became real people. Imagation open Walt Disney and the world. My pretend friends are oscar the grouch. I like oscar the grouch. V.i.p. you maybe and if you love the 2000 olympian. I am him. Ha ha ha: "the 2000 olympian." One 2000 olympian-two 2000 olympian, anillinae. Three 2000 olympian, Carmen Diaz. Four 2000...look Walt Disney should know who? Summer's comming. Big time loser, alumni like? Hum if I am correct mybpretend freinds said you wife is right there. Steve always laughed. Yes, I own apple. Jumping around on a skateboard is ok. Yea steve it is. "Lando. Remember lando, dos." Comment again, steve what is you point. Again and again comment on your point, I was aways tired of studing I'm laugh now because he and my uncle Lando were friends. Kristen always cried. Walt Disney people like me and SUPER CORN DOG. 👰 marines like one on sunday how about. How about you! SUPER CORN DOG AND PHI20 FOREVER! LOVE YOU BABE. 2000 Olympian talks to many many sesame street robots because winning life helps become a great hero. "Looking back, Felipe dos Chapa, write to the prentend freinds should sadden weaken and be only a dream. Confessions are not the gods for me to love." Thus, dress look and become the world we 2000 Olympians and Walt Disney have given us. Tron shoes avaible from moschino. Even a short change payout to super corn 🐕. We dont know who the teddy bear is. Yes. I love Kristen. The shoes were nice and tron shoes could and will sold for the world of tomorrow. Im tired and to go to sleep. Fashion runway model even olympian plus v.i.p member of walt Disney.
P.s. Kristen's mom i meet there wishing a rich red head would be mine. Jim Morrison store stuff as her and my life open up Destiny. Thy is for anytime at Walt Disneyland. Disneyland & Jim Morrison store are kinda akin to brother sister thing. (Leave sutton and silk; don't chace dreams...I press her thiegh and death smiled)

Walt talks here about not liking to repeat himself. He originally didn't plan to have a "Pirates of the Caribbean" in WDW since the imagineers thought that in Florida people would find stories about the Caribbean "old hat" and the attraction wasn't there when they opened. They had planned instead to do a "wild west" ride-through in Frontierland. However the public cried out for POTC and it opened in 1973 and has been pleasing crowds ever since.

I read online that originally the resort was going to be called Disney World but after Walt’s Death and Roy Disney taking over the project, Roy Disney renamed the resort to Walt Disney World in his brother’s honor. Also Epcot’s idea was changed after Walt’s death. It was originally supposed to be Disney’s own Utopian city but after he died the plans were reworked into a second theme park for Walt Disney World.

  • @stephenkostiak5769

Walt Disney’s original plan for Epcot is building a work city rather than a theme park.

Interesting video, thanks for sharing! I liked the part with Walt describing the creation of Small World. I also thought it was funny how he said he wouldn't make any sequels to any of his movies, yet after he died his company made many. Another reason why Disney should not make sequels to their movies. Sorry for the off-topic comment, but I just felt like it needed to be said. Not to be rude to anyone or anything. Sorry for the long comment. :)

well he died in 1966 so he had at least 2 to 3 years of planning done because he started to buy land in 1963 I believe so he pretty much left blueprints for them to follow. 3 years after his death Roy signed on to do the project and strictly followed all of the blueprints that walk left while adding little things here and there, so I guess it's named after the right person lol plus Roy said he would name it after Walt because it was his dream.

    • @OldsVistaCruiser

(SIGHS) I wish they had built a Walt Disney World Resort in California too on 27,258 acres (11,031 ha; 43 sq mi) with the same 27 themed resort hotels, 9 non-Disney hotels, four theme parks, two water parks, four golf courses, one nine-hole walking golf course for young golfers (no electric carts allowed), two themed miniature golf courses, one camping resort, one downtown like shopping area, and other entertainment venues according from what I read on en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walt_Disney_World, That way it would save the local residents who live in California the trouble of both the money and the travel of not having to book an out-of-state flight from California to Florida and not have to leave their home state where they were born and raised. That is what I would've had done if I wre in Walt Disney's shoes and his broyher Roy O. Disney's shoes too. The local residents who live in Florida are lucky stiffs to have a Walt Disney World Resort. I can also say the same thing about Universal Studios in California too.

turtlelover789 Walt noticed that most of his guest were from the west coast so he thought it'd be a good financial move to build in the east so it was easier for people east of the Mississippi River, and he was right, California already had a park, so this was the safest move
