Subic Special Economic and Freeport Zone, which is known simply as Subic Bay or Subic is a special economic zone and freeport area covering portions of Olongapo City and the towns of Subic in Zambales and Morong and Hermosa in Bataan.[2] The relatively developed and fenced area is called the Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ).
The site of the economic zone was formerly the location of the U.S. Naval Base Subic Bay. The economic zone is operated and managed by the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA). The harbor faces the Zambales Mountain Range to the west and the Subic Bay opening to the South China Sea.

You didn't continue driving around the corner DadaKoo after the airport tower... turn left and follow the curve---- on your right is used to be our hangar for BusinessJets... infront of it is where the AlphaMonkey named Putol and his gangs hangs around... plenty of fruit bats there too especially in the morning and at dusk... may Momo sa hangar namin...it's where dead military members from VietnamWar was stored (morgue)... it's true... nakakataCute dyan sa gabi... we heard unusual voices after dark inside our hangar (used to be FedEx hangar)...👻... I heard lots of ghost stories from my Subic counterparts and the guards...good memories about Subic...👍🏾

I was stationed at NAS Cubi Point Air Terminal nung 1976 when I was in the US Navy na ngayon ay Subic Bay International Airport na pala ang pangalan. Many memories came back when I saw those buildings in the area and I'm glad they are still there. Take care and be safe. God bless.

dada and sweetie thanks for showing us this video, na miss ko tuloy ang bayan kung morong bataan, actually nasa morong bataan na kayo dahil yang airport e part na ng morong bataan ang tawag noong panahon ng us navy e cubi point, sana dumerecho na kayo sa morong mga 30 to 45 minutes nandoon na kayo then swing by to the anvaya cove and see the pawikan sanctuary.

Nung bata pa ko nag fishing ako dyan sa malawaan baba ka sa mga batuhan at doon ka magfish.....at sa mga ilalim ng tulay magugulat ka marami isda na mahuhuli... noon hindi ka basta makapasok dyan sa military base....subic naval base was better before philippine govt took over. My mom works in subic..we have abundant supply of apples, pear, grapes, oranges and chocolates. Xmas party in subic is amazing... Miss my childhood days in olongapo we used to earn in dollars not peso :)

We use to live in subic when my father still in service..but after pinatubo erupted some of our belongings disappear...we went back after 3 years in subic..and the place we went...STICKY NOTE FRONT DOOR..SAYS " YOU LIFT US..WE DROP IN" :)

Dada and sweetie Thank you so much at nakita ko uli ang dating station ko. Ang nilagyan nila ng airport ay dating Cubi Point at doon ang aming squadron nakaasign. Ang mga airplane namin ay nag aasist sa Pacific fleet. Doon sa taas ng bondok ang housing area namin. Wow ang laki ng improvement diyan dati two lane lang ang road diyan sa Subic bay to Cubi Point ngayon ay four lanes na. Ang nawala ay yung maliit na bridge bago makapasok sa U.S. Base. Doon nag da dock ang mga Aircraft Carrier sa nakikita ninyong may mga barko. I really enjoyed the trip which bring back happy memories when we were there. I wonder whatever happened to Magsaysay ave. Salamat uli and safe trip returning home to Makati. God bless.
I used to live there in Olongapo and I am familiar with the place. I played in the band back in the 70s and we used to play up there at Cubi Point, Sky Club, Mariners and Officers Club. I noticed when you were turning back (before your shout out portion) and you passed the Full Stop sign. You were lucky that there was no traffic enforcers around. The road to the Cubi Point is you go right after the stop sign and you go up to a zigzag road till you hit the top of the road. You might wanna check out that route next time you are in Subic. The view up there is breathtaking. You can see the whole Subic Bay port and the whole Olongapo City and Subic City (Hanjin shipyard). Ingat lang sa susunod muntik lang din ako naticketan dyan. Mahigpit sila sa 4-way stop or full stop sign. Pinapanood kong lahat ang mga vlogs mo. God Bless Dada & Sweetie.

SBMA will become the next big thing once mafully develop ang Clark Green City. Magiging major port yan at sunod2 na maookupahan ang mga vacant lot diyan for manufacturing and industrial facilities. The area is very organized dahil strictly sinusunod ang zoning. Pag nandiyan ka, it will give you american-vibe dahil na rin siguro dating base ng america yung lugar. The whole experience is different.

Best thing the Subic Management can do is increase length of runway to 10,000 feet by filling in land to West end of runway . Allow commerical airliners to be based there.
