- The National Transportation Safety Board is looking into what caused the crash that killed Bryant, his daughter and seven others. A witness told ABC News he saw the helicopter flying low.

This is just all around sad and it definitely hit everyone who has a heart. Fan or not. Any decent human being would feel the pain these people are feeling. I cried. I cried every day thinking about those people. As a mother. I sobbed in the shower. I feel for Vanessa. I feel for the Altobelli family and their other two children who now have no parents and their sister. I feel for the husband who loss his wife (the assistant coach) who said, “how am I suppose to take care of 3 kids with no mom?” That hit me 😭😢. I feel for everyone on board. This was a devastating loss. May we be the strength to get these families through this tough time ❤️

I agree, I am not really into basketball or any kind of sport but this really made my heart break into a million pieces. Literally. Every time I see a picture of Kobe with his daughter Gigi, I cry so much. It hurts the most that those young girls that still a bright future ahead of them won't happen. It truly is unfair. But I know the legacy that Kobe left not only with his teammates but everyone he touched the hearts of, will live on forever.

5 minutes from my home, right after I played a basketball game where his daughter was supposed to play. My friend was supposed to play their team. My friends saw him the day before. I lost Kobe that day and I lost my uncle too. One of the worst days ever..

We all have a free choice of were we will spend eternity,But most of us will not humble ourselves to God, and admit we are all sinners.We do not know were Cobes heart was. We all need to make the right decision now, while we are still able to do so. I hope the pilot that followed the same route that Kobe travelled to show us what happened was correct. Because if this is correct that means they had no idea they were heading straight into the hill. I know sounds shitty to say but that means it happened within a few seconds, so they had no time to panic ,just enough time to start to get curious. My point is they had no idea they were about to crash and lose their lives and I think that is way better than "mayday mayday were going down' it was fast and they didn't know exactly was going on when they passed. I have a 13 year old daughter myself I'd rather we be confused than panicked if we passed in that way. RIP TO ALL SOULS WHO PASSED.....this is heavy

However, in such a compact space, they would see the pilot struggling and getting stressed. They were at least probably feeling a bit uncomfortable.
