On my monitor settings, I would say that Beau Blue is baby boy blue. Turquoise has a drop of green in it. Cerulean blue is similar to but lighter than azure. If my memory serves me, Brian Goulet has described his Noodler's exclusive ink, Liberty's Elysium, as a cerulean blue. I might be splitting hairs. We could call them all "sky blue" if we wanted to!
Though I think I already have more than enough ink to last my lifetime 😁, you never know. 😉 I've already gotten several due to ink videos. The William Shakour dip pen holder is basically a reinvention of the Dip-Less pens Esterbrook had. Most still available are the ones that take a Renew Point nib unit. Best thing I've used for a dip pen. 😁 The feed makes a world of difference, changing having to dip from every few words to getting around a paragraph or two written. High time someone made a modern equivalent. 👍 Whether it was you or William Shakour who came up with the idea, good job!

Cerulean Blue is purely blue but Turquoise Blue has green in it. See it this way, turquoise was named after a semi-precious stone and if you search that stone is a very deep and vibrant mix of green and blue. Cerulean comes from a Latin word meaning " sky" and by extension bright blue or sky blue.
Have Aurora Borealis, although I've only used it once ... probably should revisit. Really like all the inks on the bottom row. That Cerise ... wow! Not a color I would choose/use, but love the saturation! I recently picked up an Esterbrook Oversize "Gold Rush" in "Prospector Black", and wanted an ink to highlight the "gold" areas in the pen. I was torn between that Diamine Golden Brown and Noodler's Golden Brown. I went with the Noodler's, go figure!
From your samples of Emerald and Sherwood Green I think they should swap names. Emerald here looks like perylene green in watercolours, while Sherwood Green looks emerald. Thanks for sharing ❤
The cerise looks stunning. Herbin's Rose Cyclamen is my favourite ink but I am going to get the cerise to try. Would be brilliant if they could do it in a metallic finish.
Thanks Dave, always love the Ink Videos. I have the Aurora Borealis one - like it very much. I also have the Amazing Amethyst but have yet to use it. I had to laugh with the amount of ink you have - I HOPE I don't have THAT much, but boy - I DO have a LOT!!! Love my inks!
@@PenultimateDave I just got it so I'll grab a sample of Diamine to compare. Diamine is honestly my favorite brand. Thank you for the lovely ink videos, I'm such an ink junkie, but sometimes the colors are off on websites.
Thank you! Diamine Aurora Borealis is one of my favorites!! 💖🖋💖🖋 I am constantly reaching for this one.
Thanks as always. I would never miss one of these vlogs. Cheers.
Ina-Ho.. You shall be dearly missed

I was so sad when Iroshizuku’s Ina-ho was discontinued. Golden brown looks a little similar I suppose. I am still inconsolable.
Yes, it's such a great colour! I'm still looking for a similar one. :'(

I'd recommend Kiwi inks for that. You can make custom ones.
Diamine Cerise is halfway between 90's rock star and young school teacher. I have to have it.

I don't have any of these, but on screen Aurora Borealis makes me think of Sailor Shikiori Yamadori (without the sheen), what do you think ?
How does the golden brown compare to Herbin's Amber ink? I have a 10 ml bottle on the way, and im wondering if it's dark enough for everyday.
They are quite similar I believe but haven't tried them side by side.
