For all new starters I would recommend avoiding too many custom keymaps unless you're 100% you want this and double checked it's not something that vim comes by default. I feel like some people go so crazy with customising that if you would give them barebone vim to work on, even just edit couple files they would struggle to navigate around and do the simplest stuff - it's a trap! :D

@@klirmio21 I can't speak for the person above, but it's been one year for me. It's been a complete game changer for my productivity. I can't give one or two big reasons to convince you switch to NeoVim. I CAN say that NeoVim offers thousands of teeny improvements that collectively make VSCode feel obsolete (to me). A few highlights: Vim Hotkeys are a godsend, and NeoVim lets you expand on them x100. I don't reach for my mouse anymore. VSCode offers a "Vim" plugin which I recommend you start with, but navigating the VSCode IDE still necessitates a mouse in many ways, and the VSCode hotkey editor is quite limited. This is where NeoVim really shines. Neovim is lightweight with almost 0 startup times. Linting/parsing/autocomplete/syntax highlighting becomes incredibly snappy/fast. This might not matter to you unless you're working on very large-scale projects where VSCode starts to struggle. Neovim workspaces can be uniquely personal to you. For example: VsCode has one file-explorer option - it can render left, or right. You are like a ninja coding in the cool place with ZEN vibe! Amazing!
Very relaxing video. I especially like your house. Amazing place to work from.
Was waiting for a new video from you Senpai! Binging right now!
I have never seen such a setup. Dope and Anime AF. Developer on Relaxed Steroids (if that's a thing). Really love the room and environment you placed your work laptop in.
Absolutely love every aspect of your videos, Takuya. The quality is always incredible. I am so happy to have found your channel
WOOOHOOO, I am waiting for it!!!! Thank you Takuya!!!❤❤❤
55:36 I love how proud you were lol. I really enjoy watching your videos. They are so calm and informative it's pretty cool
After some years trying configs on neovim i agree that the neovim community needs a distribution to help each other. Vscode already ships with a lot of things pre-configured. Anyone who wants a excessive personal settings, can use the neovim barebones. For sane people who want to ship things, it's better to unite.
just in time when I'm considering to rebase my configs with lazyvim. Thank you Takuya!
Another banger. Always love to see the quality of your videos.
I love your settings, I appreciate it.
I like the elegance and simplicity of your videos very cool
