She should try sugar snap peas. They are sweet. I can eat snow peas but after a few of them the plant after taste becomes too much. Sugar snap I find are better and more tasty.

I actually love this episode. I remember the memes going around of when she was gagging at the veggies. I honestly thought it was so funny when I watched it. I honestly went into this video a while back expecting something super funny but as I watched I actually felt really bad for her. There was so much more to it rather than just "Cheese fries good". It really shows that with eating disorders there is way more to it than just the big ones that get attention. She probably had the best attitude on the show too! She always tried and kept pushing herself in the episode.

Sounds like a food aversion or a phobia of throwing up, and maybe partially due to the embarrassment of throwing up in front of family she didn’t know well, and god knows how they treated her for it. i maybe also have food phobia like a fruit papaya, one time when i was a kid the taste of the papaya is kinda itchy or acidic on my tongue so after that i never eat papaya again.
I think that's also why she had so much anxiety about eating with her husband. I would wager she had other family around at the table when she threw up the ham and eggs.

I've seen people going through garbage to find half eaten food, maybe therapist should try showing that.
What they should have done is gone to a school, payed to use the oven, baked the potatoes, put the cheese on them and had the couple and therapists go to a homeless area and pass them out. Many mental disorders are caused by excessive self focus. Even if that was caused by something else. Get your mind off yourself.

Best one on this series. She was aware of her problems and wanted to stop it but didn’t have the right push. Luckily, her husband stepped in to ask for help and she was able to break from her addiction. Also seeing them eat together was nice because it kinda reminded me of eating with my family at the table with a home cooked meal

They aren't high in vitamins and the starch turns into sugar , no heme iron, no protein, no DHA, no vitamins A,B6,B12,K2 ,D3 which all these vitamins only come from animal foods. She is extremely malnourished and will die a very early death without these vitamins.
She is so lucky to have a loving, understanding, caring partner. I hope it just gets better from there and that she gets healthier and doesn't feel ashamed any more. New food is an adventure, and in her case hopefully a great one that she has never had before. It will allow her to go out for meals, travel, and feel good about herself. That would be amazing.
I’m surprised it wasn’t caught that this lady may have a sensory processing issue as this stems from even her childhood. This is a sensory food aversion that’s typical happens when the brain is unable to process other textures as it’s overwhelming. It’s not her fault as her brain is already functioning at her ceiling.

I really like Kelly. She wasn’t in denial at ALL, and really wanted to change, probably had the best attitude on the show. It’s pretty clear she wasn’t eating nothing but the cheesy potatoes because she wanted to, but because she couldn’t bring herself to try other foods and needed desperate help to do just that. Regardless, this is definitely one of the best episodes of Freaky Eaters

This episode was funny because of the way the narrator would say "cheesy potatoes" so many times lol but I really commend her for making such great strides to try to change her eating. It's definitely something very psychological. I hope she is well!

Well sure, I've been through suicidal thoughts and family's suicides, and in no way is broccoli traumatic for me, but if it truly is traumatizing for her I feel terrible for her. I'm glad she is getting the help she needs

I love how her husband cares so much about her health
I really like Kelly. She wasn’t in denial at ALL, and really wanted to change, probably had the best attitude on the show. It’s pretty clear she wasn’t eating nothing but the cheesy potatoes because she wanted to, but because she couldn’t bring herself to try other foods and needed desperate help to do just that. Regardless, this is definitely one of the best episodes of Freaky Eaters
It's not the potatoes. It's all the fat she cooks them in and tops them with.

Cheese is technically protein, but then again too much of anything is bad.

This episode was funny because of the way the narrator would say "cheesy potatoes" so many times lol but I really commend her for making such great strides to try to change her eating. It's definitely something very psychological. I hope she is well!

Oh WOW! I AM SO PROUD OF HER! I hope there's a follow up. I would love to see how she continues to do! She also has an AMAZING HUSBAND! With her putting out the effort & trying so hard. Along with her husband's love, support & encouragement I think she can do anything! Keep it up girl you can do anything!!!! Way to go!!!

i mean potatoes are a starch, and very high in carbs and calories, plus the cheese so of course she was unhealthy lol

Well sure, I've been through suicidal thoughts and family's suicides, and in no way is broccoli traumatic for me, but if it truly is traumatizing for her I feel terrible for her. I'm glad she is getting the help she needs
