Your production quality is top-notch without having advertisement-level polish. I’ve been cooking HelloFresh meals for nearly two years now. As you said, sometimes the produce is extremely fresh; other times, the vegetables wilt quickly. I don’t always make all my meals right away (I order 4); sometimes that’s not a problem, but occasionally, I should’ve check right away. Scallions are used frequently, so they’réa good measure of quality over time. The meat has almost never disappointed, though. The vacuum-packed meat can last for a month in the refrigerator. I’ve used it older than that with no problems. Once a package of meat had a leak, but they replaced it with a whole meal within days. Thank you for this post
the Crispy Chickpea Tabbouleh Bowls look so good they're legit making me hangry. love your reviews!!! I am seriously considering reupping my subscription now
Hey! I feel like hello fresh is such a common sponsorship on UA-cam that I just can't get behind. I had it pre-UA-cam on and off. In theory it is convenient but I found that the price doesn't take away from the fact that it only covers one meal a day (typically) and you have to account for groceries for everything else. On top of that, I found the one time use plastic packaging to be egregious (most of which is falsely labeled as recyclable) and I frequently received produced that was rotten or not enough produce to begin with. Overall its just never something I would recommend when a better option would be to prep produce ahead of time for easy weekday cooking. Great video by the way!
Hey, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! I totally hear where you're coming from and I agree with you- ideally I prefer to meal prep on my own because it's cheaper and more eco-friendly, but there are just some weeks where life really gets in the way 🙃 Surprisingly, I actually feel like HelloFresh uses less plastic than other meal kit services we've tried. And yeah, in my video I show instances of produce not being the best quality. But overall I've had a good experience and find that it's a nice alternative so that I'm not just ordering food constantly on weeks where I have a lot going on. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch my video and to comment 😊
hi ! french viewer here :) great video, loved your detailed comments !!!! small note, using a plastic cutting board is introducing harmufl microplastics to your body, i would strongly reccomend switching to wood (you can google the sience behind it pretty easily if you wish to get a good explanation for why) ! :)
In your cover art for today’s episode, it seems as though you *really* didn’t like the subject of your review when, in fact, you are positive about the product-especially with your occasional criticisms making your response even more genuine (see channel’s title, I guess). So maybe a photo that more closely matches your review
Have you tried HelloFresh before? What other meal kit services should I try? Lmk in the comments!
