I didn't know about this, though I'd been to Goa! Thanks Rakesh. You are giving very useful information about less known places in addition to practically valuable details like hotels, travel modes etc. Subscribing to your channel provides a fund of information.
Thank you for the kind words. Indeed visit to Divar Island was an experience in itself espcially going in the Ferry in your 2wheeler/car. Also if I can request if you can share the information in your network will also help me. :-)
Inside island 🏝️ we have one more ferry going to Vaxim.near the hotel left side . Total 4 ferry ⛴️ Dear.
Aapke vidio mai hamare nanihal ka ghar dikhai diya so thank full 😊
I honestly liked all the houses in the Divar Island. However there was one particular house which we all stopped just to take Pics. Is the RED colour house yours ? Or tell me which second did you see your house?
Very nice
Thanks
Yaha pe bahut sare temple hai lekin aapne nahi dikhaye total 16 temples
I am not sure on 16 temples, but it was after coming back I realised that few things were missed. Are you from Goa? The reason for this ask is that I still have not covered South Goa and somehow I liked Divar Island. So will certainly visit this place again and if so will connect later with you on Insta or something.
sir as you said on the walls too they have burried people ,( diwar pe be dafnai gaye hai) the truth is after every 3 years the grave is dug up and bones and remains of the dead people buried are removed and kept in the walls in loving memory by their loved ones i guess ,with black or whiet marble .and the idea behind is to make room for other people to to be buried in the same place. thats as per my knowledge.
Sounds a logical explanation. Thank you so much for explaining in such a detail.
Only thing you got wrong is the places to eat. Bradlee bar for great home-cooked Christian food, Avinash, Rock Inn, Mayur and a few others for fish curry thali and more. Simple, but good... like the life it is possible to live here
Honestly when we searched we couldnt find anything except for some bakery kind of a shop which was also closed during around 3pm when we went. Also being a Pure Veg, my criteria for search was also limited. But thank you for taking your time out and posting the comment here. I am sure it will be helpful to someone for sure.
Ahhh. We keep Goa of the past timings. So 3 pm is siesta. But your appreciation of this little gem is really appreciated by me, a non Goan who grew up in Goa and came back years later to find only this little nook of it relatively unspoilt by tourism and modernization. Thank you
Thank you mam. If you liked the video and if I could request if you can share the info in your circle.
I have put it on the Divar Island WhatsApp group
Thanks a ton mam. This is also the Playlist for Goa where how one can explore Goa in 3 days and also the place where they can stay is given. Someone may find it useful :

The Kabrastan in the wall outside the church at Chorao iland is for burring young kids after their death..as normally kids are not burried in the ground
Thank You. That makes sense. But I remember someone telling me that this is also for adults as they didn't have space and didn't want to disrespect the bodies. So they kind of stacked up in the wall. Are you from Goa ?
This wall burial is basically for newborn kids who die at the time of birth
Thank you for sharing the right information Sir.
Welcome Sir
