I'm intrigued by Baraka's criticism of Liu Kang for doing nothing about the Tarkat disease. I wonder how Liu Kang himself will address such points in the story; to what extent is he willing to exert his influence over the realms (other than dealing with particularly wild troublemakers), or if he even can despite the Hourglass under his control. Kronika's whole issue was that reality refused to follow her idea of a grand design, so it makes sense Liu Kang would want to avoid her mistakes. Interested to see how this will pan out.
We don’t know if Baraka is actually talking about Liu Kang, the way the trailer is cut he’s most likely talking about someone else.
There's also Baraka's phrasing, if he *COULD* have. Liu Kang might simply be unable to help.

@@74bhounds she made her debut in the Sixth game deadly alliance. Was in deception and Armageddon too. She fights for the freedom of her people or so, wasn’t a whole lot to her. Look it up

MK1 is amazing! I am in love with the detailing of each character. Ed Boon seems to be doing now what he was expected to do 30 years ago. But glad that it's being done when that generation is still in peak youth to play this beloved game as a reboot.

Tarkat disease is similar to leprosy in the MK world so if you know how lepers were treated then you know how Baraka feels, also calling it know Rain had something to do with Jarrod's death.

Man im so happy to see Darrius, his design was so cool. I so badly hope to see Nitara and Mavado as well. Nitara was such a badass and Mavado's design was also super cool.

Baraka finally getting some more character depth! His design has always been my favorite, his lore though was ehhh.
