Re-watching this episode and just realizing the love Karin has for Brian when he went to wake her up for the dive, that innocent but wholesome smile and attentiveness. Amazing couple.
Absolutely sensational guys and girls. You will all end up with a lifetime of beautiful memories and visions when you are older. Cherish every-single-moment.
Indeed Peter! cherishing each and every moment of this amazing life. These videos really help us to get perspective when we edit the footage and look back on it. Truly amazing moments! I think it's going to be a kick to look back at these in 30 years and wonder why we didn't have a 3-D hologram camera or something :) Cheers and thanks for watching!
Thanks Brian, your videos are the only sunshine I get working the overnights! You give all of us, armchair sailors, hope until we can get back to the sea.
I have never been so amazed by a set of videos! All 28 in two days. Thank you for escaping me from my office in Atlanta, Georgia. Please keep them coming.
Awesome! We love hearing that we can contribute to the productivity of the working day :) Really happy to hear you enjoyed the videos. Stay tuned, we're working on more as we speak.Cheers,BrianS\V Delos
Greta vid ,it baffles me why people would waste the energy on giving it a thumbs down , I can only assume there are a lot of sad jealous people, thanks again for all your effort and great pics.
Skiiwa It's actually gotten to 64 thumbs down now. I can only imagine it's a mistake, those ppl probably had a few too many beers and hit the wrong button
What a life. No hang UPS or jealous people. Loven the life.. It's 7 years old but your still going strong. I'd love to join you for at least a year. Then keep going
Just the right setup. No drama! You are in paradise. Wow, I am astounded that other crews that are sailing in paradise do drama and whine. Your boats and you are in paradise and you are doing drama? Why? SV Delos has it figured out! Excellent... Just excellent.... Thankyou guys! That 3 hour episode (207?) was perfect.
Sweet Tea hahahah🍾🍾🍾I'm late but that's okay cant wait to get to episode 340+ I'm a few months out but I'll catch up....what u have done in 12yrs on youtube ....generational wealth 🍻🍻🍻congrats
Hi Brian, great journey's, and great job with all the shooting and editing! I'm formally a 14 year Photojournalist, shooting and editing and I'll say you're doing a fantastic job on every bit. Shots, music weaving, sound, and especially the storytelling. Keep sharing and we'll all keep watching. Thanks so much for the inspiration, you've convinced me that these kind of adventures really are worth doing! Looking forward to buying my boat soon!
Mitch Morales Hey Mitch! Very cool man, thanks so much for the awesome comment! We do have a blast putting these videos together so it's kind of passionite hobby for us. Glad to hear that is coming through :) We're working on more now so stay tuned! Fair Winds and best wishes in getting a boat!BrianS\V Delos
"Blurred goodness" aside, you two guys have to be about the luckiest brothers on the planet! You both seem really chill, you have 3 beautiful(willing to be free/non-blurred, Bonus lol!), fun, cool, and always smiling ladies traveling the world with you...and your doing it on a sailboat! I can't imagine a greater heaven on earth(and I've seen a couple heavens myself, snow covered mountains, scenic lush forests, and the Vegas desert/casinos, and Hawaii's beaches are my next stop)! Well you all are truly blessed, by many gods apparently lol! May the winds stay with you and keep you safe!
FYI: I've been binge watching your videos for about 2 days now and with everyone I get more and more jealous! Thanks for the entertainment...and heartache of jealousy :)!
Aloha! Allow me to be the first to THANK YOU for adding the captions to your video! What prompted this? You provide a great example of making a video accessible to sailors who happen to be deaf. Thanks again, good people! Sail on!
+Larry Littleton Hey Larry, Josje, Phoebe, and Babs mom is deaf so we really wanted to add captions for the whole community. We are trying to do it on all the new posts as well but it takes some time. Our latest (ep. 58) does have captions :) Fair Winds, and thanks for watching! Brian
Delos Crew You are Amazing, meeting the Locals, learning there language, making friends all over the world, doing what the Locals do,secret coves,Lagoons and the list goes on and on and my Dreams get bigger and Bigger.Thank You all for sharing!
Hey Patrick! The awesome thing about working on these footage is we get to relive it all again, and realize "Wow man, that actually did happen!" Thank you for watching and taking the time to write a comment :)
Ok one more deserved for a motivational video. The late afternoon on the beach, must have been beautiful ... congratulations and thank you for gifting us with their days. Today I will be cheering for team USA, here in the World Cup in Brazil.

I will echo what so many others are saying Wow what a beautiful place, the coral & fish are fantastic. I will put Raja Ampat on our list of places to visit. That still has come in handy another item to add to must have list. Lastly I hope you guys have calm seas & gentle breezes as you travel. Thanks for sharing.
It’s a good thing you filmed this, because you wouldn’t find me in that ocean with all the sharks, the outgoing tide, and the exciting pick up into the dive boat.
Ha- hard to mutiny when the crew is nullified with moonshine :) J\K we all are close like family and even on a 53' boat you can still find personal space. Just put in the headphones and sit on the bow. It's like complete solitude :) Thanks so much for watching!
Amazing dive footage! What an incredibly gorgeous place. Thanks for all the narration on the "how" of some of the things you do like anchoring in deep water (ingenious). really nice to meet friendly local peoples seems you guys really enjoy with them. not only the nature so beautiful and also local people in there. wish i could go there.
Another great video! It's hard to imagine anything more beautiful than this. National Geographic will be jealous of the amazing video you shot underwater. Can't wait for the next installment.
I'm Indonesian. And, that is a good decision about "red and blue" flashlight Bri, you really don't wanna messed up with them. P.s: yeah ,we are not very proud of it.
Awesome underwater reef shots. An important documentation of some of the ocean wildlife that should be protected from the effects of climate change and pollution. “The Sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.” Jacques Cousteau
You guys have an awesome life and hope one day to have only half of what you have ... keep up with the awesome vidoes ... love watching them and see where ur off to next
Nice video, I'd thought id seen all your video's but starting again from the beginning id missed quite a few of the early one's. You can see how much your channel has improved in quality over the years.
This is one of my favourite Delos vids! Always dreamed of diving Raja Ampat, shame it's rather a long way from London! Shocked to see 84 twots dislike this????? Whats wrong with people!
guys guys guys....jealoussy is on my mind. what a life you guys are living of. anyway...welcome to raja ampat, there is almost nothing else like those place on earth. stay save and keep on cruising guys.
Zulham! Thanks for the sweet comment! Everyday we wake up and are happy with the choices we've made. It does take some sacrifice but is totally and completely worth it. Thanks so much for watching, and cheers to you!
Your videos are AMAZING!!!I cant get enough of em!!!The boat, the beaches and no matter where you seem to anchor THE BABES! I will be a boating captain in my next life for sure!I am preparing myself spiritually for it now.Aside from the stops to refuel and refresh and siteseeing my entire life will be about boats.I met with tragedy too early in this life to make my dream reality this go round. My body just wont let me.But all the videos I watch and books I read are keeping it fresh in my mind.I believe!!!I love you all and pray for your safe and joy filled voyages. And send good energy out to you!CHEERS!🍻⚓⛵🐳🐋🐟🐙🐡🐠🐚🐬🍒🍑🍐🍉🍈🍇🍆🍅🍄🍋🍊🍏🍎🍌🍡🍢🍓🍍🌰🌱🌴🌞
Wow! The reef diving in Raja Ampat exceeds most footage I have seen from Delos from the Caribbean or Australia! It is no wonder Indonesia was a major supplier of coral and fish for salt water coral and fish tank hobbyist until recently (they cut back exports a lot in 2018-2019). That secluded beach you were invited to visit was so freaking cool - a dream come true! Amazing footage and thank you for sharing SV Delos! I think the intro art by Karin is quite cool and artistic as well. Shark eating the boat was funny. Fair Winds Delos.
I have no idea why this video was tagged by YT as an "Age restricted video" frankly I did not see anything show that could be age inappropriate compare to past and future SV Delos productions.
Hi Brian. Another good one! Have really been enjoying watching your videos. I spent a couple years cruising with my family as a kid. Last year my Dad did a trip to Bassas. I was at varsity and had to miss it but put together a little video for him. Thought you may enjoy it. Bassas on Revelation we also spent a a month in Mozambique over December which I hope to make a video of. We are planning on leaving in a few years for a circumnavigation. So hopefully see you around; if not give me a shout when you are in Cape Town. Would love to go for a beer!
Hey Matthew! Sweet man, very well done! Looks like an amazing place. I think most cruisers coming from Asia are now going down the East coast of Madagascar but I'd love to have some local knowledge when we get a little closer. I'll put you on our "Cool People To Contact" list . Which is actually a Google Earth file with names and emails. BTW- Could you email us at svdelos53@gmail.com so I can have yours? Thanks for watching!BrianS\V Delos
ah man, totally epic ! .. you know, since watching all your videos and reading all your stories I have finally figured out what to do with my life .. and am now making plans to build a catamaran to sail the world .. very inspiring ! .. luckily I am also a software developer and will be able and allowed to work from my yacht .. enjoy !
2ftpmarco indeed the gunboat 66 is a breathtaking cat ! been looking around and decided to build my own though, I want it a little bit customized as usual ;) haha. Gunboats made in my home country too ! south africa !
mozartsghost777 i calculated about a year ago that, if you build one your own and use polyester(€2.10/kg marine grade, 45k tot) for the base material, it would cost about 140 - 200 k euro, to build one with the dimensions of 17.50 x 8 meter(to get through most locks inland (8.50 max)) the sails are a big part of the price, so they cant be to fancy(35€/m2(350g) = 8k for one set x2 = 14k + a spinnaker = about 20k total) rigging 20k Propulsion about 35k mold materials 15 k whats left is all of the deck equipment and interior / tools & a place to manufacture the whole thing .....time for some coffee now greetings from the netherland
Congrats & Kudos guys & gals for living your awesome dreams. My sloop is on the hard, and its taking me forever to make the hopes of a long sail happen. The land doesn't release its grip easily.
Crunch Hardtack No, you're right. It doesn't release the grip easily but once it does.... :) Wishing you all the best as you prepare to set sail! Fair Winds- Brian S/V Delos
Brian SV Delos Thanks. I have been considering the Philippines as a destination from Florida, but that is very far and I will look like a human skeleton after so long at sea. I am a lifelong sailor, but never that type of distance. Your yacht, the sailing adventures, the crew, and the relaxing videos are super. My highest compliments.
Crunch Hardtack There are lot's of awesome stops on the way to the Philippines! Especially if you go the South Pacific route :) Just amazing! Fair Winds- Brian S/V Delos
Awesome video- you guys sure are living the dream- I'm stuck here in Iowa- USA and the temp is -15 degrees F. Have safe travels, really liked the whale shark video, I took my kids down to Isla Mujeres off of Cancun a few years ago and we were able to swim with the whale sharks there.
U guys are totally awsome ! And those videos u guys post are incredable :) I can't wait to finish my education, and be able to go on adventures like these guys :D happy sailing
Not complaining or criticising. My life has been extremely conservative and cloistered almost. Such a thing as those tiny swim suits would be unthinkable. You all seem to be so free and happy. It fills me with happiness.
mike hunt That I was. :) I am Muslim but raised by an Amish man. Pretty done with all that, but at my age, if I wore a bikini, people would say, "ewwww, get a cover on that"!!!
Well I've watched all vids from the start till now without stopping...! Absolutely fascinating and interesting! The only other series I've ever watched continuously like this is 'Breaking Bad.' 'Course that was a fictional story about the need for crystal meth. But as you all need Nature's good oxygen to fill your sails....guess that rather makes you 'Breaking Wind?'
Brian SV Delos We are leaving Canada, then down the east coast of the US/Cuba/Mexico etc. toward Panama for the rest of this year.... then through the Canal to who knows where??? I think it might be a while before we actually race each other to the bar, we need some practice.... cheers, K&S
Jeff from Jersey Hey Jeff, thanks so much man! Really glad you enjoy the videos and hope you are having an awesome start to 2015 so far! Fair Winds- Brian SV Delos
I am so inspired by your videos to buy a sailboat and take to the sea. I am working on it, and am hoping by the end of 2014 to have my own Amell 54! Love Love Love your way of life! Besides, who wouldn't want to sail the world with three beautiful girls!!!
My Delos day consisted of watching your Cape Town shakedown cruise on FB followed by re-watching this "oldie" from the beautiful Raja Ampat and the spectacular diving footage. Your discussion of anchoring techniques has me wondering if Delos ever made it to Chatterbox Falls? Fair winds.
so awesome and beautiful ship… i am jealous…. I only have enuf to build a thirty footer… (still working on it),,. My dream vacation,,,, sail everywhere or anywhere..yep
charles dilmore Hey Charles! The boat doesn't matter... You'll still anchor in the sand sand, enjoy the same water! Get out there and do it! Fair Winds, and thanks for watching. Brian S\V Delos
Re-watching this episode and just realizing the love Karin has for Brian when he went to wake her up for the dive, that innocent but wholesome smile and attentiveness. Amazing couple.
Yea they're a pretty amazing couple.
I noticed that too. 🥰
I'm coming back to watch these again.
A refreshing change from what UA-cam offers lately.
Absolutely sensational guys and girls. You will all end up with a lifetime of beautiful memories and visions when you are older. Cherish every-single-moment.

I like these older episodes the best. The crew then, the music...it all is very enjoyable
Nice to see Karin waking up with a smile to go diving.

Thanks so much for watching Paul! Knowing you're out there inspires us to keep on working on them :)
It’s a good thing you filmed this, because you wouldn’t find me in that ocean with all the sharks, the outgoing tide, and the exciting pick up into the dive boat.
Wow! What a fantastic adventure you guys are having! It seems like everyone gets along pretty well too... no signs of mutiny. Thank you for sharing!
Ha- hard to mutiny when the crew is nullified with moonshine :) J\K we all are close like family and even on a 53' boat you can still find personal space. Just put in the headphones and sit on the bow. It's like complete solitude :) Thanks so much for watching!

Great video and keep them coming! I've been following the blog and vlog for some time now and it's truly inspiring. Lovin' it. Cheers to all

Oh thanks so much for that! Best wishes in your future adventures :)
Not complaining or criticising. My life has been extremely conservative and cloistered almost. Such a thing as those tiny swim suits would be unthinkable. You all seem to be so free and happy. It fills me with happiness.
+Khadijah Brown I hope one day you yourself can be free, idk your culture or race but just remember, YOU WERE BORN NAKED lol
mike hunt That I was. :) I am Muslim but raised by an Amish man. Pretty done with all that, but at my age, if I wore a bikini, people would say, "ewwww, get a cover on that"!!!

Human Footprint
Brave to sail in those waters known for several pirate attacks...
Well I've watched all vids from the start till now without stopping...! Absolutely fascinating and interesting! The only other series I've ever watched continuously like this is 'Breaking Bad.' 'Course that was a fictional story about the need for crystal meth. But as you all need Nature's good oxygen to fill your sails....guess that rather makes you 'Breaking Wind?'
loved it. what a great adventure and dang that hidden cove! beautiful
Brian et.al. - GREAT REEFS! 18 days to go! Hope to see you out there... Kyle & Shelley, s/v Blowin' Bubbles....
Hey guys where are you headed? Are you heading for Indonesia?BrianS\V Delos
Brian SV Delos We are leaving Canada, then down the east coast of the US/Cuba/Mexico etc. toward Panama for the rest of this year.... then through the Canal to who knows where??? I think it might be a while before we actually race each other to the bar, we need some practice.... cheers, K&S
Just started watching all your Videos.. You guys are the BEST.. I have to admit I envy your lives just a little..
Jeff from Jersey Hey Jeff, thanks so much man! Really glad you enjoy the videos and hope you are having an awesome start to 2015 so far! Fair Winds- Brian SV Delos

Nice video. Beautiful underwater scenery.
That was awesome.
lol sweet tea fueled dance party!!! love it!
I am so inspired by your videos to buy a sailboat and take to the sea. I am working on it, and am hoping by the end of 2014 to have my own Amell 54! Love Love Love your way of life! Besides, who wouldn't want to sail the world with three beautiful girls!!!
Hey Ted! That's too cool man! The Amel 54 is a sweet, sweet boat. If you do this you won't have any regrets. Live life my friend :)
This is the second video I've seen of yours and its incredible. Great editting and voice over and shooting
I'm officially in love with you guys and the channel. Just WOW! I'd love to join you guys and go on adventures and learn how to sail
Fair winds.
Just amazing. Cheers.
so awesome and beautiful ship… i am jealous….
Sitting here in beautiful Upstate NY. Cold and snowy. Although I love the snow ... what I wouldn't give to be on that boat right now.
snowycuse Stay warm friend!
