Connect EV3 Sensors to Robot Inventor! EV3 Adapter

LEGO Mindstorms Robot Inventor 51515 compatibility has improved drastically! Hey dude. I have gotten into Lego Technic about a year ago and since the beginning found your videos awesome and watched almost every one of them. I wonder if you can someday do a video on the 42082 Rough Terrain Crane because I might want to buy it used if it's really that great, but there's no really good videos on it. I bought the Robot Inventor set from lego, and was disappointed it didn't have a touch sensor. So I bought a EV3 set and realized I can't use them together. But this fixes it, I think I need at least two of these converters.

Thanks for the reply. Cool technology, I like what the 3rd party companies are doing with LEGO components. The reason I ask is that I have two sensors and two motors from Powered Up, but no hub. This adapter is cheaper than a hub atm.

The hardware for Robot Inventor Hub and Spike Prime Hub are exactly the same. Only firmware is slightly different. And indeed, you can connect the Robot Inventor Hub to the Spike Prime application, which will automatically flash the SP firmware onto the RI hub.
