Today I,ve decided to listen this song why because for the past last 5 years I saw my father drinking every day I couldn't understand up until I am older my dad was stress and depressed I found it later bcz of my step mom.the only word he also preach to me ukuthi ixoxo ne xoxo liyazi xhumela RIP Mdlalose
Reminds me of my late brother, had three kids, even though he was a drunken master, but he never forgot to provide for his kids, he even made a good will and testament for his kids, the kids have grown up through him being a responsible and present whilst he was still alive. May his soul rest in eternal peace ✌️ 🕊
The way you described your brother its like you are describing mine. This was actually his favourite song at the time he passed. His eldest daughter requested that we play this song during the funeral service. Urgh, love and light to you hey.
Awu nkosiyami u Baba wami u Ngidi wayeyiphuza bo I zamalek, he would boast about us his kids kwazi I lokishi lonke especially if you did well at school.Embarrassing as it was I look back at those moments and i'm in awe of the love. May HIS soul continue to rest in peace 🙏
My dad died 20 years ago when I was just 12 years old.. this song has just reminded so much of my late dad's love for me and my siblings. Thank you for such a meaningful song.❤
Shout out to all the father's out there. Despite the fathers drinking alcohol,as long as they are responsible enough to execute their duties diligently, big ups to you..you're still out father's !!! Lots love...
My father didn’t drink, and he was always there for me. He has set the foundation behind the success I enjoy today. This song brings back so many memories of him and sacrifices he made for me and our family. I miss him dearly.❤
I heard this song in the morning on uKhozi ngacweba izinyembezi. Finally a song that encapsulates US AS IMPERFECT FATHERS who still stuck around n showed love in our own way to our children. As a PRESENT father i identify with this songs sentiments 100%. Siyabonga singobaba Mnqobi. Usirepresentile. The scene of calling your son ashaye indlamu or dance or asho izithakazelo when u wirh your friends is 200%😂😂

My Daddy doesn't drink alcohol ..when we were all born (me and siblings) he had already stopped and became a pastor in one of the biggest churches ... But this somehow describe his character ... May God and ancestors keep my Dad safe until I succeed in life and buy him a Porsche 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 The man did everything a father has to do to care for his family .. I want him to reap what he's sowed for all those years Thanks Mnqobi and Big Zulu 😍😍😍

Thank you for such a song, raised by a father who used to drink but never ever did he forget that he was raising girls. Being an unemployed single parent, words can never describe how blessed we actually were to have u in our lives. Forever in our hearts Ngcolosi, Dlabazane....
I love it because it's a positive song about black fathers who don't always get the appreciation they deserve. Some were and are good fathers. Rest in peace David Kelly

Wow,,such an amazing, glorious, hitting song I've ever heard in my whole entire life,,,,,,,, well all I can say is that dear Mnqobi Yazo::::thanks a lot for remind us about our late fathers 🤗🤗you know when listening to this song I feel like my dad is still here with me 🤗🤗#ZAMALEK💜💜
This song is the perfect description of my dad with his Black label/ Zamalek,😂 Ngiyalazi uthando lukababa🤞I'm leaving this comment here so when someone likes it I can always come back to listen again and remember the great happy times of my childhood.
When I see the video I just get emotional because my dad drank a lot but wasn't warm or caring. No giving us imali yoku'khera or no polishing our shoes, not even those small things. The boy in the video is a good actor hey. I just see the child's face and I see just how important it is to have a dad around. These memories make you when you are older. My mom was the one doing everything, because I'm a girl, people just thought I should be OK no matter what. I have an older brother, forget that he even got an ounce of care from our dad. Fathers are important, if only men acknowledged the damage they are causing by leaving their kids, being absent, drinking, and creating bitter single mothers then blaming them for being bitter after leaving them with kids. Bitter single mothers are the creation of men who don't want to be present in their kids lives. My mom left my dad but she left us with my dad and the first thing he did was to find another single mom who would mistreat so that we would go to our mom. He claims the step mom 'usihlakaniphisile' by making us go to our mother, thus making us choose our mom over him. He then turns around athi yena akasilahlanga but he did covert things to make us leave him and be with our mom. These people that claim women use kids to spite men are fucking liars and are ignoring the reality of our black community. Our fathers are abandoning us and our brothers and cousins are choosing to do the same thing to their own kids. I'm tired. I like that this video is not showing us a perfect ideal father that is rich and aeverything (that would be too unrealistic for our black community), but a present father, a caring father, with overalls because most of our fathers are uneducated and I would even say they don't value education for themselves. Mara this father is present, he shares meals, he smiles and is kind.
Wow, your words struck a cord. My dad was never a faithful man he has kids with three different women that I know of (including my mother). I don't remember him because he left before I was born. In truth he was a drunkard and would abuse my mother for the ten years they were together. Today my oldest brother blames my mother for the life he had after our father left. Just wanted to add that my never really supported us financially because he already had a family. That he hid from my mother. So my mother left him I guess at the final act of abuse she would be willing to take. That was when she was pregnant with me and he tried to hurt or kill her with an axe. My oldest brother is also abusive. He abused us for more then a decade. Life in this house was hard and unforgiving as a child. Some day I would wish he would just die. That's how bad it was. He says my mother was abused because she was disrespectful. Like how can a man decided to hit a grown woman because of disrespect. She is grown not a child. The truth is, the men or males in the black community are rotten. They keep us down. They rape, perpetuate violence and kill people. The black community is they way it is because of them. Did I mention that my father was a principal but was fired because he would prey on the school girls. Just sickening.
This song deserves much more credit!! I don't understand a thing they are saying, but my heart is more than moved. Shout out to whoever was a part of this spectacular project. It makes me wanna see and tell my father how much I appreciate and love him. Cheers guys.
