another prime example that you don't need a bazillion dollar camera to make stunning photos. it's all about the composition and getting the most out of what you have (which to be fair is a lot when it comes to this camera and lens combo)
This place looks unreal, the overcast and rain is incredible! You really nail the moody look!
The symmetry of the trams together 🔥
Your Edits are amazing.
My hands were sweating loads as you dangled the camera out over the street
Mine were to... Or was that rain water making the camera even harder to hold on to? 🤣
@@CurtisPadley Hi just wanted to ask if your preset has already been edited. Or I have to make the adjustments myself??
Máquina ❤
Awesome!
Another awesome video and that camera and lens combo looks so small and portable, real teavel friendly. Huge thanks for the shout in the #cpphoto section too what a compliment
Ayyy thanks Matt! It's a beastly little combo ⚡Your welcome mate, keep up the great work! 📸
your amazing and your videos help me learn alot keep it up
Thanks mate, glad these videos help! ⚡📸😁
You're now one of my faves. I am in the States and started shooting with the Signa 18-50 2.8 and Sigma 24-70 2.8...Love your content.
I was sold the first 5 mins of the video wow such a beautiful accent and contrast from that lens and you don’t need a lot of edit for the photo that wats blowing my mind 😭🔥🔥
If i had one wish to you i would wish longer Videos. Great Art.
Dope AF. Love the content. New sub! 🙏🏼📸
superb, this is gonna be my next camera, until i get it, i enjoy ur videos. love your presets too, ill sure get them.
Ayyy that's awesome you'll have a right camera on your hands! 👐📸 And some presets to 😉📷⚡
HI Curtis. Late to the game but love this vid. Have plucked up courage to buy A6400 and am so inspired by your vids. Love the Manchesta vibe to this Vid
Im definitely buying your preset if they come out that great
It's finally out!!
Time to enjoy
great video
Great videos, really inspiring man, planning to buy my first ever camera. Haven’t seen you use an evf in any of your videos…need to decide between zve10 and a6400, at the moment thinking of learning photography but may take a few videos….wot would you suggest? The tilt screen on a6400 seems archaic and more like a flawed design. Please suggest? Thanks.
Angielski
I would like to know what photo profile you use to take photos of sony6400? You are doing a great job !!!
Your videos are really inspiring and make me want to go out and take pictures right now in the street. Could you share your gopro preset to have that view please
So, with your preset pack, would I just apply a preset and then maybe just tweak the exposure/shadows and that should do it? I am pretty interested in the moody street one, and may get the Ultimate one too as I've had my eye on them for a while as love how yours look and don't want to spend hours editing each one. You should do an editing tutorial. That would be 🔥🔥
Your videos are simply great. I was wondering if lack of image stabilization on lens and camera affects raw photos ?
Thank you! And to answer your question no! Doesn't effect photography in most scenario!
Hello Curtis did you use Nd filter white shotting?
man, i'd be scared of ruining the lens (no weather-sealing). sick pics like always. it's good to see a weather-sealed frame is enough.
No better combo for camera and lens well the sony f4 18-105mm is also a must have lens! Awesome video mate, i still struggle to get over the feeling awkward pulling my camera out in public, yet its not against the law in public areas, i still feel like its wrong hahah
Thanks mate! Ohhh I get that feeling, street photography can heighten anyone's anexity but just gotta practice 🤙
@@CurtisPadley Oh for sure! I am slowly trying to get out more even though i do videography and photography as my company, i find it awkward doing street work as you never know peoples reactions to being captured haha, but love your work and channel!
I have very first lens of Sony E 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS from Sony Nex era. They both have similar focal lenghts with Sigma and Sony has OSS and Sigma has better image quality i guess. I will generally use for travel/daily photo shoot. I have A6400 now and i'm wondering should i change this lens with Sigma or is it unnecessary, what do you suggest? Thanks
New to your channel..was wondering what focus zone you usually use for street photography? Also i currently have the a6700 and have a couple of payed gigs for portrait shoot. If you were me what sigma lens would you reach for ? Thank you so much, cheers✌️
👍💜💜👍....I still not been able to get the puddle reflection.... One day👍👍👍👍
what focus settings do You use? I somehow cannow het my pics in focus when I do street photos.
I almost couldn't get a single word inside my head !! Omygod why this accent is so freaking tough for me
What is that hot shoe adapter that you use. it look so small. Thanks
Great job, I enjoy this kind of videos and learn from it ofc. Im curious about the look in photo 6:25 , can you tell me what the main tweaks you did to the colors that gave you this look?
Thanks mate! 🤩 All the photos and tweaks were made using my presets! 🎨
Oh wow... All from preset? I thought they post processed using PS.
wht filter do you use? nd or cpl or nd+cpl sorry for the noob question.
You have a chance to check out the upgraded Tamron 28-75 g2? I’ve been using it for the past few weeks and it’s a really good lens!
Maybe in the future mate, no plans atm, heard good things though! ⚡
Enjoy your videos very much I have a question please do you shoot all your street photography in raw or jpeg please
Thanks mate! Always RAW! 🤙📸
Why do you take burst shots?
How to learn angle because im newbie , can teach me using a6400 56 mm from sigma
Did you lose the eyecup mid session? I heard that it is very easy to lose.
Got my First camera in June (Sony a6400) it came with "kit lense". Been outside more since i got the camera then i have in a long time, and im loving it!
im thinking of buying the sigma 56 for portraits.
Wich lense would you recommend for street photography ?
And wich for Landscapes ?
how has it been using the kit lens? I got mine about 2 weeks ago and I've been told to get this lens and drop the other one.
I always keep a backup sd card on my bag. when the main one is full I use the backup one, which must always be empty. this allowed me to avoid what happened to you. but the problem I got, is that I may forget the main sd card at home attached to my pc and I go out and I have to use the backup sd. this never caused issues since 128GB are hard to fill, but I still haven't found the perfect formula.
Sporting of you to own up to files error, Curtis - we are all human😊. 20 min tram wait - was it a record? Vitton and Bank of China good captures. Cheers!
Yeah longest time I've had to wait for a tram and I was getting soaked 😂🌧️ but worth it!
Is sony a6400 18-135 lens still worth (2023)???
casual mansory urus
Great video! Does anyone know if he edits the photo afterwards?
Thanks mate! I might be able to answer that question. Yes I do. :)
Hey brother iam from India....,. You photo shoot is awesome.... Please reply
Any idea on how to correct the barrel distortion from this lens when shooting at wide end ?
I am a newbie, and struggling a bit xD
lightroom can do that
In Lightroom go to len corrections, that's where you can correct the barrel distortion! 📸🙂
Hey Bruv, do you have presets for video?
@curtis Do you use iso auto ever? and in this one how do you recommend quickly adapting settings for a photo . I'm new to photography and have a sony a7iv with a 50mm 1.8 and a sigma 24-70mm 2.8. Trying to figure out what is best for my trip to london, scottland and paris. Also your videos are so awesome to watch!
Nice pictures and review! So the Sigma 18 50 2.8 can be used in small rains?
Ayyy thanks! Yes it can be used in the rain! 😁
@@CurtisPadley thank you for the info. I am just torn between this lens and Tamron 17 70 which is claimed weather-sealed (more clearly than the sigma).
Dude what’s your presets?! Photos are fire!🔥🔥 I’m also on Lightroom lol
Thanks dude! They are in the description if you wanna check them out! 🔥🔥
I just watch this vid in 2024. I love both ur shoot and your edits! Looks so amazing.
The question is, does a6600 has weather seal? How do u clean and treat your camera after it getting wet like that? I really wanna do took some shot at rainy day as well but I'm too afraid it's gonna damage the camera 🥲 mine is a6400 btw.
Anw. Can't wait another content from this channel! 🔥
A6600 is not weather sealed, A6400 is. Remember you need weather sealed lens as well for combo to work in rain!
Why not use a peak design wrist strap attached to the anchors already on your camera- especially when hanging over the edge of a building? My cameras are virtually always tethered to my wrist, eliminating any possibility of the camera slipping out of my hand to disastrous consequence.
Very simple explanation. I forgot the wrist strap 😂
I am rightnow between the Sigma 18-50 and the Tamron 17-70 for my a6400. Love the small size of the Sigma, but the Tamron has the stabilisation.. but how important is that when i only take photos with it like 95% of the time?? :)
The stabilization is important for photos as well, especially at the longer end of the focal range.
@@ninjatogo i bought the tamron 1 week ago and i am in love with it 🤘🏻😊
Did you need an adaptor for this lense to the Sony A6000?
Nope
i'm kind of a beginner and i was wondering, are these in 3 by 2 or 16 by 9?
I'm almost 100% sure it's 3: 2. I'm new too photography as well so I don't know, it might be 4:3 however it's most likely not 16:9
I'm a beginner, and this might be a sily question, but if the lens says for example f/2.8 like this one, how are you able to use for example f10 and so on? I thought that if u use that lens, you'd be only able to use that specific aperture?
The aperture is adjustable, 2.8 is just the best it will get
F2.8 is the least you can set.The lower the aperture value goes higher the price goes
Im quite worried about the a6400 in the rain, since it doesn't have weather sealing, is it safe the use it during then rain?
The Sony A6400 does have weather sealing and yes it's safe as you can see! I've used it multiple times in pouring conditions never had an issue! Hope that helps! ☔✌️
@@CurtisPadley my bad, thanks a lot🙌 I can finally started shooting in the rain 😂
@@gabrieldass3615 Yess dude! Shooting in the rain delivers results! 📸☔😎
from where you learn how to edit like this ?
if you have an course about that or
you learn from course , can you help me about this !?
That lens is not that weather sealed. I am getting it tomorrow. Aren't you scared its goin to get water or dust inside?
100th comment
Where these edited with luminar-neo?
Lightroom mate! ⚡
@@CurtisPadley Do you think I should pay for the lightroom package every month or just get luminar-neo? Ive only recently got a a6300 and want to learn how to edit my photos! 🙂
Sir, can you share your preset 😊
Check description
Were all of your photos raw or they were edited using Lightroom?
All photos are raw and I edited through Lightroom
What is your Settings ? Can u help me pls 😢
The settings are on Screen.
I have not seen it. Thanks for the quick response :)
The sigma 18-50 is weather proof? 😮
Yes it's got weather sealing 👌
@@CurtisPadley ohh great, though only partial
@@earleyreecemitchell You can't dip it into an oceans and expect it to work. It's weather sealed from rain ☔😂
when shooting in burst, how long before your memory card runs out on a good day of shooting like this? does it run out fast and do you clear everything on ur card before the next session? what sd card size are u using
To answer your question pictures barely take up much space you can fit thousands of pictures on a 128gb sd card
Best lens for travel ? 50mm1.8 sony or 24-70m sigma
It really depends on what you are shooting mate, I've done video on both of these focal lengths on the channel, they might be helpful to you, if you are stuck. ⚡😁📸
@@CurtisPadley Yeah I have watches so many of your videos and still cant decide. I am going to be shooting like touristy things, Eiffel tower, big ben, the eye, edin castle , etc.. I could also bring both. I also noticed you do alot of quick changes are you using manual auto on anything?
@@michaelg758 From what you've said there, I'd say you'd be better off with the versatility of a 24-70 but I'd take both why not hey 😁✌️ and I shoot in manual mode! Hope that helps! 📸
@@CurtisPadley Thanks I appreciate it! one last thing! Do you have a video of how to expose for highlights or shadows etc. I hear you mention this in some of the videos and I cant find a good video on how to learn this technique
THE GUY DON'T USE FACEB**K🤣
You just make pictures of everybody, is that allowed?
Yes street photography is legal in the UK
dude lost eye peace :(
