This rc boat literally played an April Fools joke on us. We turned on the rc boat and then this happened. Once we threw it in the water, it wouldn't turn on!!!! Rescue mission a go!! Keep watching because we did end up getting this rc boat to run and we were surprised by its performance. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Looks like you could use a piece of 2x10 for a smal dock for you walk on some. Also makes for a decent 12th scale ramp if needed! NIIIIIIIIICE! 😁👍

Maybe a fishing pole with a trott line of treble hooks.
Make sure to bring a fishing pole with line with you for retreiving r/c stuff, attach pine cone or similar to end of line and cast.
It's always much easier than trying to find the right sticks, leaning and climbing around.
not just for water areas but works great with things stuck in high areas as well.
May I suggest going to your local sporting goods store and getting a fishnet with a long handle for small boat retrievals

Boats will generally turn much easier to the direction the prop spins, if you have a right hand prop it turns right East and if you have a left have prop it turns left easy

Well a bit better than the twin prop finger chopper. I'd like to see all the boats take on the moving/ semi-rapid water. Nate you did need some aerobic exercise. 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🤭🤭🤭. You could buy a few 6' pool noodles & tape them together for a decent reach, And tape one into a circle to go over the boat. In this one if you had paddled the water it would have created a current towards you. Might not work on heavier boats. I like the pool noodle idea💡 . Who says I don't use my noodle 😁😁😁. Fun review, I got exhausted from watching all that running 😄😄. ⚓⚓👍🏃♂️🏃♂️👍💜👍⚓⚓.

Can attach a string to a tennis ball. Can throw it over boat and pull it back in. Small and easy to keep in the car.
I think that boat would be fun in a pool with Friends, maybe set up a obstacle course and race.

Well....that was interesting (amusing?). I was waiting for Abby to have to kick off the shoes and start wading. And no....Nate...the early problems were NOT your fault. Having a "non-standard" order for turning on the transmitter and "rc" was the issue...and as you note...there is a reason for the standard order. Thanks for putting a smile on my face as always. Oh....your "blue" water looks a bit greenish. Seriously looks like a lovely creek. I've got an RC boat project I've been working on for many many years (I'm looking at it right now peaking out behind my big monitor). It's a "scale" British WWII Torpedo Boat. I just need to figure out how to install all the "internals". Final comment...might want to pick up one of those "grabber" things people use to pick up trash and such...so Nate won't fall in trying to turn a couple big limbs into chop sticks. Be Blessed.

Gas is skyrocketing too! Among many other things. In just a few months gas has gone up nearly an entire dollar per gallon! Let's hope it doesn't get much worse or we will be doing all of our videos from home on repeat RCs!

LOL funny stuff , I notice when you took cowl off the servo rod to rudder has a ' U ' shape in it and that it would hit the cooling line inside ..
The yellow speed boat is fine enough, the problem is the RC Sailor's, RC Sailor's you should have chosen a cleaner river.

LoL, my club field is partially flooded. Float flying my Twin Otter today. Shooting touch and goes, water rudder jammed hard over, plane snapped right and wind got under wing. Yep, boots and sox off and wade out to get it. But yeah, RC on before Tx? Fail
The first couple minutes of this video are exactly why I'm hesitant to get into boats or submarines. Unless you're close to shore when something happens, you've got a lot of work to retrieve your boat! With a car/truck, you just walk over to it.
