I've had this in my library for a while now. Played a few hours of it and decided to wait til the 1.0 release. Thanks for covering it again and reminding me to check in on it. Releases this Thursday the 25th. Awesome.
Wow, it is on 1.0 finally, Bought this back when you first did a video on it beat the first chapter, and put it on the backburner. Thanks for updating me!
Saw this just released on Xbox and I totally ignored it thinking it was a walking simulator type game like Close to the Sun or something. Snapped it up after watching this video, even though watching you play was actually painful my dude. I was screaming "check the crafting menu" repeatably cause you missed a crucial item!
Going to say I've only watched the first half of the video having not seen the original video (guess I missed it in my sub box) and I've just bought it. Thanks for showing it off.
wild-weird game, lotsa fun, been waiting for them to finish it. Perfect sense of humor. LUV the death mechanic, You LIE, it couldn't have happened that way! - and the soviet-esq retro-future, gotta luv it, I guess POO-tin was triumphant after-all!
I love how the creators of this game take the piss out of every subject they 'deal with' in the game. 😄 The writing is superb ! 😂 @ 4:30 Does the destruction of the "cruise liner" remind anyone of another famous large vessel unexpectedly having a nasty accident? 🤔

thanks splat for explaining that feeling you got with subnautica, I had the same with other early access stuff and I felt a little alone with that kind of thought sometimes waiting for 1.0 or even 1.5 is just the better gaming experience edit: damned FOMO
I totally understand checking up on something but not too much and spoil it. I've bought a few early access games that were quite developed and played the heck out of them. Then 1.0 comes around and it takes a bit to switch what I am doing and come back. I do, but I miss that feeling you get when you have been waiting for something all day, as a kid, then finally being able to play with your toy/game.
Agreed with the Subnautica thing. I was following Markiplier's playthrough when it was still on Early Access until it released and his gameplay was pretty much like how you experienced, when the full version came out he didn't bother restarting from scratch and used an old save and somehow ruined/bugged some parts of it. Played it myself when it was free on Epic and playing it once is enough. Its a great game, just not something I wanna replay multiple times.
@@DarkDodger he is normally not this bad at showing the game but this was one of the worst for sure. Still, good channel :D Also, as you said there is almost no alternative except maybe nookrium.
@@oblivionsa7973 I never heard wanderbots but I watch Raptor. I'll look at wanderbots then. The number of different games raptor plays is very low compared to nook or splat.
I loved Subnautica and was waiting for Below Zero to come out of Early Access to scratch that survival game itch. So i was very pleasantly surprised when i found out about this game just a week or so ago. Definitely going to pick it up on Thursday.
Wait... Bill and Ted could be matching doormats? They have the pose correct... Hitting it with an.object such as a hammer is called Percussive Maintenance.
Splattercat, you can get a pci-e usb card for your computer, no need for a completely new one. That and you could look into replacing the camera's cord to see if that's your problem.
This looks like Journey to the Savage Planet. Like I thought it was the same developers during the beginning stuff. Maybe a little "We Happy Few" as well.
Looks interesting; but I'd never see the game. Someone smacks me and then asks a question? That's getting them spit on when I have a choice. Every. Single. Time.

It's not "babushka music", come on! It's "Tachanka", that's classic! Also, I wonder how many puns are lost in the translation to English in this one. Should probably play myslef
The game progression is actually really good if you take time to actually do what the game asks of you. The debugger teaches you about the handy scrapper, which you can use to get electrical tape, which leads you to more oxygen. The scanner gets you more more blueprints, that get you further
This was a pretty lousy peek at a game that has so much more to offer. I didn't need to watch splat endlessly venture out to collect water and food scraps. There was very little to show of the game as a whole and it's mechanics. Disappointing.
very little show* ? sounding like im not gona see much depth on this clip... mmm yea when u start u gota get the condom and bloon then the kabab pretty quick or your time spent outside is fairly minimal...

He completely ignored the most essential tool in the game... that is a new level of splatty gameplay. I love it and hate it at the same time.
I accepted that this is what it is with Splatty, but sometimes it REALLY gets on my nerves, like in this video
