Golden Goose I think that was huge mistake that they built up all that hype only to say that Selina would make Bruce weak and that’s why she left him at the altar which wasn’t true at all, in fact it would’ve been interesting seeing how they could’ve explored the whole Batman/Catwoman partnership but they didn’t and that’s where the Bat books went downhill a bit for me in all honesty. Nightwing got shot in the head, Red Hood was kicked out of the family by Batman and the team from Detective Comics were disbanded.

What kills me about the show is Bruce spent 5 seasons helping Selena trust someone. She went through so much to finally except him. By 5x11 she stopped fighting it. She held him close to comfort him, followed him wherever he went, team to his defense putting herself at risk. Selena finally allowed herself to be vulnerable and then hours later, he left. He crushed her so bad I doubt she ever let anyone get close to her again. He broke her, you could see it in the adult version, she hasn't been emotional in 10 years and just the mention of Bruce was bringing all that back.
Your whole description is a mood tbh. I'm so happy but I know it's too good to be true. Something "has" to happen before the finale, the writers won't just let them be. 😭
My theory is that everything is going to be somewhat smooth sailing until the time jump episode :'))) They're going to show the classic batcat push and pull relationship in full effect I JUST KNOW IT
