Hi Darcy. You had me laughing the whole time!😂 your masterboard ephemera turned out really good. I can't make a choice between the raccoon and the fox but they are my two faves. Ooh, and also that belly band. It was all good and I learned some new tips. TFS 😊
@DarcysMixedMedia thanks! I'm recovering enough that I'm dying to get back to crafting. 😆 🤣 I've never been one to lay around and this time is no difference. Thanks for asking though! Have a great weekend!
Love the Racoon! We had a nest of them under our shed, and my husky got bit by one because she was too curious! All good, the vet checked her out, and the raccoons moved on. 😊
Hi Darcy, I love creating different things , my channels name is Carmen’s Crafty Creations, my love for glue books has been growing and I also did ATC with watercolor backgrounds. Thanks for sharing your artistic journey with us. Love your channel ❤️❤️❤️
I enjoyed watching your video and seeing your process. Beautiful ephemera. Thank you for sharing. I tried out my new gell press yesterday and managed to make some nice print. I wanted to continue with it today but I am having a low energy day today. Maybe tomorrow will be better. I also really enjoy making masterboards, I still struggle with doing something with them after making them. I try not to worry too much about that, the important thing is that I am having fun making things and what it will end up being is not important right now (A relatively wild concept for me🙃).💙🫂
Thank you, Erna, luv. 💙 I have a good-sized stash of masterboards myself. I agree: the fun of creating is the important part. Some day when you're in an ephemera-making mood, you'll get to your masterboard stash. 😉
I like to start around the edge of my papers. And those are cut straight. But when i overlap, i use torn edges. I work my way towards the center . I love watching you.
I usually do a master board using the scraps as I go in a project so that they go with what I'm doing. However I have done some neutral ones that where all different shapes and one made with circles.
I prefer to tear my papers when collaging but I recently made some Ink Box cards and combines gel prints with printed papers. Those I cut straight it was okay
Hi Darcy, new subscriber here. I found you through Ceri. I love your journal project. Don't worry about squeeky seat, it's obviously well used 😜. I thought about making a journal, but can you show a finished product on how it's used? Don't need to see what has been written, but just how they are used. It just seems a lot of work to make these. Thanks from Scotland, UK ❤️❤️
Hi Susan. I use my journals in more unconventional ways, but I'll be sure to show some in the nearish future. If I forget, you have my permission to remind me.
Did you try Vaseline for your chair? I’m wondering if that might work.btw, do you use a mic? I’m wondering if I should get one. I’ve got the #howdoyoudo collaboration done and working diligently on my Language of Flowers Journal. I loved trying to make bubble paper.
I've only used regular WD40. The silicone version was suggested. I'm hoping my dad will look at it when he gets back next week. If it won't stop then I'll move this chair to the desktop computer and get myself a new one (or fix up that one to be less annoying-it has rips in the arms that are taped and sticky from loose tape). I still have not started my #HowDoYouDo; I'm not finished with my #makerscreativecollab2024 for April.
For a long time, I just used the internal mic on my phone. I had a clip on one for a while (I'd clip it to a cord and not myself or it would just be noise from my clothing and heavy breathing). Now I have a cardioid mic on a stand.

❤ Darcy I store my pack of baby wipes upside down so that the water soaks back into the upper wipes.
Thank you; fantastic idea! ♥️
That’s exactly why I love emoji’s. They’re great for setting the tone of a comment.

Phew! Glad it wasn't worse; I watched Little House on the Prarie. 💙
Ohhh good find! Your animals are hilarious…that raccoon cracks.me.up. 😂 love a good master board and that’s a great one!💜
Thanks so much! ♥️
Love making masterboards. I like straight lines working from the outsides to the inside.
♥️

The smooshing down creates fun random patterns.
It really does. 🧡
Hi Darcy, I love this masterboard and all the cute things you made. I like the fat birds too, they're adorable. TFS. See you again soon 😊🤗❤
Thank you very much ❤️
Everything turned out great! I like your casual attitude with collaging. 😊
Thanks so much 🩵
Yeah! Random all turn out great
Thank you ♥️

Right? It amazes me every time.

Hello, Marguerite, ❤️ So far it's just been cloudy and gloomy. I think rain is expected.
I like to start around the edge of my papers. And those are cut straight. But when i overlap, i use torn edges. I work my way towards the center . I love watching you.
Nice! ❤️
This is enjoyable, Darcy. I like to use scrapbook paper scraps to collage and book page. 🎉
Thank you ♥️
Visually sound, creative advice. Well done.
Thank you ♥️
I am working on a one signature bug journal. Also sewing table runners. Hugs 💙
Nice! TFS ♥️
Those are all so wonderful 🎉❤
Thanks, luv ❤️

Hey there. New to your channel courtesy of Ceri the Crafter. Love what you do!
Welcome! And thank you! 💙

I think for me it depends on my mood. I like it both ways.

I am working on darcy's decemberdaily.

Hi Darcy, where did you but this purple tear ruler from?
I got the purple one used at the Pink Elephant in Newport, Maine. I prefer my clear WeRMemoryKeepers one because I can see through it.

Where are the fat birds from?
I just checked to be sure: they are in the digital in Luise Heinzl’s Etsy shop called Funny Focal Points.
