  • The Kapok Caddis
    In today’s video, Rick (The FlyFish Fanatic)™ will be tying a Dry fly pattern. This dry fly uses three different materials that will allow it to ride super high in the water. One, Kapok Dubbing, Two, Deer Hair, Three, Foam. Great fly that will float for days.
    Materials:
    Thread- Semperfli Nano Silk
    Hook- Hends 354 dry fly hook
    Body- Semperfli Kapok Dubbing
    Rib- Semperfli Mirror Tinsel
    Wing- Natural Deer Hair Body
    Head- Raineys Foam.

    I'll have to use this for hoppers come this spring. We've got some small green ones that would be killer with this pattern.
