OMG! 😳 The Tiger Girl got down and Michael Jackson would have been proud!! I am in awe with theses girls.. and I hope that routine they just perform... goes down in history❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
UNLV tried too hard to be good. They had too much going on. This routine is clean and synchronized. The formation changes are excellent. Visually above par!!
I’d say the OG Smooth Criminal’s choreography from the music video and live performances was better, but to be fair, I’m biased because it’s my favorite song, music video, and live performance by MJ. I’ve watched them so many times to the point each move is seared into my brain. And while LSU’s wasn’t BAD… they didn’t really use any moves that were unique to Smooth Criminal that I could see (maybe a few of MJ’s famous moves from Billie Jean, but not Smooth Criminal). So it’s hard for me not to have a mandela effect watching them not do a specific move at a certain point in the song. Even Thriller’s choreography gets more attention when performed, which I wish more people would do the same for Smooth Criminal’s too. Regardless, they did a great job with the timing and choreography on its own, and I’m happy that they chose this song and got to become national champs with it. If it were me deciding the choreography, I’d have made it a mix of original choreography alongside Smooth Criminal’s ACTUAL choreography. That’s just my take on it though as a huge fan of Smooth Criminal. Y’all can feel free to disagree.
