Big Diff Between a Tramp and a Hobo and a dirty wast of skin bum
Hobo be like a happy hippy all drunken up looking for a happy time
if they see a fight most will walk away

most times its the Drunken Bums or Hobos that are in need of help after they opened drunken mouth filled with intoxicated stupidity

Who can derail them trains with ease or run the top of rail cars to trow a rider off the fast moving train

the urge to ride freight hits me stronger as time passes.
A lot of folks get mixed up between the three. I'm more of a tramp too, but will work for a few days for a place to rest my head, boil down, and for cash. Most times, I carry a small pack, but not a dill pack lol, they tend to be a nuisance. As bums go, I have little to no respect for them ; they are inept creatures. I've meet dirty kids that I have respect for and some crusties too, it's the traveling gutter punx that I'm usually brawling with. Labels are the problems. Each individual is different. Obviously there are tramp rules, hobo rules & maybe no rules for bums other than those created by others for them. It's always hard to control the opinions of others about us. The more we try the more we are trolled or trailed in this punny case.

There is no wrong way in this & looking at it is a different way does not change the views of the majority. yes that oil skin is a problem when hopping rail - The bottom will get under your foot when you climb the ladder on rail cars - happened to me one time - why i don't put it on when i hop on a rail car

@@Telestations I been watching EVERY & ALL train videos there is, ranoutonarail, you, wingman, stone thehobo, shiey, the red headed English dude that traveled through Canada, Trevor Jacob, the dude ranoutonarail traveled with, sexxxytimmy, street soldier, & a few other smaller channels, so I have a really good overlook on it, & I think I'm definitely hearty enough to make it! I don't do drugs, except weed, which is medicine anyways, so I keep a pretty clear head at all times, & I was homeless about 12 yrs. back, so I slept in below zero weather with minimum covering, & slept in the desert while at peak heat. I served 17yrs. in prison, so my instincts are honed finely, as well as I'm good at feeling things before they happen.
Now I really feel like I need to learn about the trains, the routes, which cars are best for what, & other "life hacks". I currently have a home,my own in Reno, which I'd still have if I decided to travel a bit, so I'm not doing this for no other reason than the adventure, the memories, & to break free of my awful marriage for a few months, I NEED A BREAK FROM THE WIFEY!!! 😂👍

Wow, thank you - few understand what a hobo be or the deference between a tramp, hobo and home bum - some say tramps don't like work but that not be how we are as folk - all tramps me know are professionals this includes all FTRA FTRC Members who themselves are all tradesmen - hobos most times avoided work and like to panhandle or curb for cash - that cash they spend 99.9% of the time on booze - if ya ask FTTRA FTRC members about work they did or do ya will see they mostly all be tradesman - ask a hobo about his work history and few have a history - Stobe was a tramp and not a hobo - Stobe was a tradesman - worked for the Coast Gard - now shoestring is a perfect example of a hobo or rail bum - never talks about work cause he bums on line - me find that to be class less - me spent years working on rail crews same with a ton of FTRA FTRC Members and like them me don't like bums or persons who refuse to work and bum off hard working folk whom got little to give and worked hard for it - bums also shit on good persons who don't give to them - them bums are drunks and a waste of skin who demand ya feed them with booze and drugs and in our eyes they suck as humans and are a waste of skin - i be tramp and proud of it -

Hey Buddy, we are hard pressed to find a Hobo in Australia. There are plenty of Train Surfers. Only a couple of Freight Hoppers and the occasional bum who doesn't have the cash to buy a ticket. The bums usually catch the passenger train and upset the passengers. Good to see the HO, your rite HO is great. Ride Fast, Ride Safe. Sutho....
