My no buy began six weeks ago just until the end of the year, going to be doing a low buy in 2022... Since I discovered your channel I am definitely inspired to look at fashion from a new perspective 🌈 you've given me some great tips and ideas on how to shop my wardrobe. For that I would like to say thank you.
Merry Christmas everyone 🤍✨ I hope you are feeling well and healthy. In these times it is so important to enjoy the time we can spent with out family and I truly hope you are able to celebrate this holiday with your families ✨🎄
I’m someone who likes naturals. I’m also someone with brown hair. Beige and brown tones look really pretty on me. I love keeping it simple and classic. I like to add interest with lace and feminine items.
Nothing New '22! Love it. Especially the replacements out. Might need a few of those if weight changes drastically. 🤔. Thanks for the inspiration and direction. And yes, it does affect our mood and self confidence and self image. That said, it is sad we worry about what others will think. I hope to focus on how good I feel, not how I fit in with the latest fad. I look forward to more altering and upcycling tips. If you just show what others have done it would be OK. TFS. Realize this comment is meant for your previous post.
I’m stuck in snow 😳I have to walk to my car in snow and wear those giant snow boots I literally hate and do nothing for me. You look amazing hope the baby is doing wonderful. I’ve spent the last two days clearing out my clothes. Loved this video🙋🏻♀️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Signe, I'm with you about dirty toddler boots on white jeans! I hope you'll give us lots of content over the next months and years about practical compromises to your personal style. For example I'm an inverted triangle and like to draw attention to my bottom half, but when out with kids, light colours are hard to pull off so I try wider silhouettes instead. However, that works better for the city than for the countryside, where wider hems would slosh about in the dirt. Dark skinnies tucked into boots are just the most practical when out with adventurous kids. So I've now accepted that I have one or two style uniforms for being out with little ones, and another for work/going out.
Although I prefer classic pieces, I also adore 🥰 color and texture. Finding a balance between these things is challenging and fun. Good luck finding a great navy blazer! 😘
Yes, color! Especially going in to spring! I never really understood how we wear so many drab colors in the winter when it's so cold and drab outside, and wear more colors in spring and summer or in warmer climate. We need color more in the winter, to counteract the lack outside! No wonder forcing flower bulbs is so popular, we crave some color.
I had my colors done in the 1990's (mom took me to a "color party"). I have always kept my colors in mind when shopping. I naturally gravitate towards my colors anyway.... We are -30C here so my "winter" wardrobe tends to be as many layers as possible with heavy, chunky knits! I spend 6 months a year shivering!!🥶
I can relate. Michigan winter doesn't allow me to wear those cute cropped sweaters I love the look of. 😍 what is the point of a sweater in a cold climate if not to keep you warm? 🤔 maybe someday a video on being warm AND stylish, LOL. I end up looking like I gained 20 lbs.
The hot weather finally broke here in California, about a month late. I had so much fun these last few days, bringing out and steaming my “new” (winter) wardrobe from storage. I love wearing sweaters, blazers and boots again. And, today, we’re getting that most wished-for thing, rain! We’ve been in a long term drought pattern here for many years, and/or we’re seeing climate change in action. I didn’t realize in how many places my roof is leaking, though, bummer.
Recently moved from Southern California desert to Idaho and I'm loving the cold weather for wearing clothes I couldn't before. The only disadvantage is most people here are very casual and I love to dress up! I'm going to be true to myself. LOL
I have really enjoyed your videos over the last month since I found your channel. I have started a journey of de-cluterring my wardrobe, my home and my life. Thank you sooo much for your fantastic videos and outfit ideas! I'm also so glad I found you before Christmas since I asked my family to give me money instead so I can treat myself to a few items from your jewellery collection! So excited! Looking forward to more videos from you xx
I like buying second hand. I have found some really nice pieces to go with clothing I already have. I have found some nice jumps as you call them. We call them sweaters here. I found men's blazer in the color I was looking for, in took the sides In to fit my shape. Absolutely love it.
I like that grey tray you have for your jewelry you just gave me an idea. I have very similar trays I need to adjust the shelves in my closet and add my jewelry to them and get it out of a drawer. 👍🏼
Your style continues to serve great inspiration for me, Signe! You really can't go wrong with a basic top or blouse with jeans. Hope to see more videos like this in the future 😊
2021 is almost over. This year was a low buy for me...basically some secondhand things and one Everlane cashmere sweater and one new Muji wool cable knit sweater this month for my birthday. I also sold some of my un-used clothes. I have more than plenty!!!!I am thinking about a no-buy in 2022. Thanks for your inspiration. Merry Christmas to you and your family XX
Do you do a change-out for each of the four seasons? I do because I’m short on everyday wardrobe space, but have extra storage outside of my bedroom. I also get a fresh wardrobe each season from my own items. Plus, I have way too many things in general, I’m working on decluttering and buying much less. I decided to purchase only very few high-quality, classic items, the low prices of fast-fashion has contributed to me buying much more, and lower-quality, trendy, items than I need. No more FF brand-browsing! I haven’t reformed overnight, but am improving my habits, and you have been a great inspiration.
It is indeed a process, it's taken me years too and in terms of personal style I don't think you're ever "done" evolving! But there are definitely ways to evolve your style mindfully, and I'm glad my content has helped you!
I love you video's, they always contain a lot of usefull tips Since you are wearing the mens jumper from organic basics, which I like as wel, is the sizing a bit bigger?
I love all those new colour ideas, but the colour of that lipstick at the end is stunning 🤩💄, would you care sharing the brand and the shade, lots of love 🥰
Hi Signe! I hope you and your little family are well. I love your videos as always, now I wonder where the black boxes are from (the ones you store your clothes in) that is in your closet? Is the closet from IKEA? Love from Sweden
hi signe, i just wanted to ask if we're going to see vlogmas videos from your channel this year? not that you have to but just missing the ones you used to do. 😊
I am a 46 year old stay at home mom. Had a question. Do you wear your wool and cashmere sweaters even if your just lounging around the house? I’m trying to get the most use out of them. Plus since I have taken the no buy 2022 I’m trying to make the most of my clothes. Pls advise
I always love your videos. I have been trying to find a good quality tan blazer. I just checked out your recommendation for the one from Arket. Do you mind me asking what size is the one you are wearing in today’s video? 🙏
@@UseLess_dk Thank you 😊 I am making plans to go thrift shopping in San Francisco some time after winter has calmed. I think I can find some blazers out there.
Nice video,I have a question,I read that dark skin people should avoid wearing brown close to their face as it washes them out, however I like the look of brown suede jackets, should I avoid that color to prevent a wash out effect or how can I work with it?
I wouldn’t agree to that, dominant colour types with dark skin have brown in their palettes too ☺️❤️ no matter your skin colour it is more about finding the right version of the different colours - those that harmonise best with your hair colour, eyes and skin combined. If you are a warm colour type you want to look for warm colours, if you’re deep look for deep colours, if you’re soft look for soft, and so on. I hope that helped a little bit! ❤️
Hej thanks for the lovely video :) as always super educational. I have a question where did you get the folder with the colour examples? How could I get something like this and my colourtype analyzed? Would I get it with your masterclass?
Thanks for your comment, I’m glad you enjoyed it! You get info on how to determine your colour type with my masterclass but I also offer both in-person and virtual colour consultations (the consultations are where you would get the swatch wallet, in the masterclass you get a PDF with colours) - links are in my description if you’re interested 😍🙏🏻 Signe xx
You talk about being sustainable but promote shopping from home. More energy used as you try and return if things dont fit. Also big companies are killing little businesses. Have nothing and be happy? Think on.
I think the idea is a few good quality, well fitting pieces that you mix and match to create many different outfits. Pick your own flattering colors and favorite styles.

I prefer that costume Winter wardrobe format of vídeos.
Even one dress or skirt would be cool to see. Paired with a turtleneck or blouse for layering.
Merry Christmas everyone 🤍✨

I also seem to be drawn to that terra cotta colour whenever im in a ladies store

Love all the looks! And, im happy to realize i already have similar pieces in my wardrobe to quite closely recreate these looks! 👍👍

Don't like outfit 6
I would go crazy if i had to wear outfits so basic and boring.
I think the idea is a few good quality, well fitting pieces that you mix and match to create many different outfits. Pick your own flattering colors and favorite styles.
I love this style of dressing, however I realised they are very manly looking, none of these resemble a lady look if you know what I mean
Nice video
