- This review is of a beast of a bike is called the Engwe M20. It's an electric mountain bike with fat tyres and full suspension. It's in a sort of beach cruiser style with a motorbike feel to it. With it's double batteries the range you can get if ridden with minimum pedal assist is huge.

Hi, just got myself one of these, love it, looks great. BUT. The top of the chain is touching the tyre when in gear 1, is this normal. All Engwe tell me is to adjust the derailleur, that is not going to work. In fact the rear wheel is not even in the centre of the frame hence too clos to the chain. Did you find this with yours?
No mine doesn't do that. Check the wheel to see if there's a wobble left and right it might need reseating.
Thats so sad that you can't ride on any streets where you live ...here in NY only dirt bikes have that problem, an upgrade you can do is a rack to carry stuff like water food jacket ,i go to the supermarket on mine and carry gallons of spring water etc if you have a cat you can take him with you
You can ride it on the streets but it needs to be restricted to 15.5mph. Actually I think there's a motor W limit as well but I'm not sure what that is.
I can't find anything at all online. So can anyone ride this bike if they steal it? Does it not come with a passcode or require a key to start the bike???

Why are your lights up so high?
I dunno I thought I'd put them pointing down?
The Chinese version is very different from my UK version atleast the lights ur throttle the gear switch but regardless the M20s are solid I have almost 300 miles on mine 🐓🐆😹
Ah I see! I'm actually in the UK so not sure why mines different.
After 1000 miles on my bike, I can say it's not a great bike whatsoever, very fun! but not an ideal bike if you want something that lasts.
I'd go for a surron / talaria if you want a real bike that's gonna last.
