Measuring an antenna mounted onto a 30 foot tower during an install with the City of Salem was one of my most memorable field days as a field application engineer. It's so helpful to hand the guy in the bucket truck a Open/Short/Match cal standard and tell him to connect it to top of the feed line while measuring at the base to ensure the field-terminated feedline works as expected without any reflections (TDR!), then connect the antenna and ensure the system behaves as expected. So fun!
