8 years since this masterpiece. We as Tales fans must show the Glenwood duology more love. And also more love to Superfly, Minami, Flow and all other artists involved in these projects
+Kratos Aurion Plays I see, I didn't enjoy the no tp thing and the game was far too easy. I also played on the PS3 so the camera was terrible. Lol. But I do love the story and all the characters except Rose. She was a terrible Mary Sue and the cause of so many plot holes. Honestly, she might have ruined the game for me. :/
+Ellen Smed The order I sacrificed them in was Lailah, Edna, Zaveid/Mikleo. I did that because Lailah is too frail and close range to be useful against heldalf. Edna is strong, but she's also prone to death. Her healing doesn't do much good in this fight, either. Zaveid or Mikleo next. I don't remember which one I did first, but it depends on your play style. I had my Zaveid with terrible defence and amazing attack. For the entire time, Zaveid should armatize with rose so they have God attack. He'll do most of the damage. The Mikleo armatize is good because there's a few places that heldalf doesn't hit. I stood in those spots and didn't take much damage. I think defense doesn't matter for this fight. So whoever you use and whatever order you sacrifice them in, make sure they have equipment and skills that boost their arte and/or phys attack. Also remember to armatize when someone dies! And quickly. You need to rack up the damage as quickly as possible.
This song is one example when Namco Bandai chooses a great song for a great game. The whole song expresses the energy that Tales of Zestiria has. Anyway, Thank you Superfly for this "super" song and thank you Namco Bandai for making a great "Tales of Series" game.
After Zesteria i'm enjoying Berseria so much more. The stark contrast between pure intentions in a highly regarded position like Sorey, and the dark perseverance that Velvet had as the "Lord of Calamity" is so great. They both want good things but are regarded completely differently.
I love that Velvet leaned so heavily into being the lord of calamity. Like what's his face just gave her the perfect Persona to use to instill fear and change. I love what happens at the end with Laphy, he's one of my favorite characters in the whole game. His ark is amazing.
Such a beautiful and powerful song, the full version of this song is great. She has a very beautiful voice:) Great choice as the opening song for Tales of Zestiria, can't wait for that game.

I haven't played ToZ so I wasn't familiar with it's OP but Tales had an orchestra version of this on their channel and the sound made me think "This song probably sounds badass in it's original version, too." so I came here. I wasn't disappointed!
To be fair. The instrumental version is fucking Godlike. I love both of them equally. They did the Tales of the Abyss for us. Which was give us the song but with a sexy guitar rift replacing the lyrics. Tales games never disappoint me with there openings.

I surfed her Superfly channel. damn, this woman has been around since forever (one of her earliest MV I found was from 2011) and I only discover her through anime. her voice is unbelievable and her songs definitely has 80-90s rock feels. check it out!

Yeah... I don't know. I imagine the colors on the mirror to be a "reflection of oneself". So a clear mirror or white palette would be someone who is pure, like Sorey. I'm not sure exactly what each color would signify (maybe the feelings that consume them... making them a mess of many colors, spiraling), but that was my understanding.

この歌は、異色の歌ですね。一瞬、ドキッとするようなMVだが、その中でも、しっかりとした歌唱力は健在なので、聴く人を飽きさせないものを、持ってますね。まさに、芸術品のような歌だと思います。
色々感じてこそ、かんどがよくなる。理解したいりそうも、世界も。
この曲からスタートするアルバム『WHITE』も素晴らしい作品でした。コンセプトがとても伝わってきますし、なにより楽しんで生み出された作品であることが感じられて、聴いていてハッピーになれます。

Yeah... I don't know. I imagine the colors on the mirror to be a "reflection of oneself". So a clear mirror or white palette would be someone who is pure, like Sorey. I'm not sure exactly what each color would signify (maybe the feelings that consume them... making them a mess of many colors, spiraling), but that was my understanding.

曲はカッコいい。OPアニメもカッコいい。本編があかん。
デザイン、曲、キャラ合体、パーティー交代等々良い点は結構あると思います。
ただ、ヒロイン詐欺のような扱いやストーリーが全体的にいまいちだったかと。あと、フィールドが無駄にデカくて敵シンボルが少ないから、移動がダルい。
