Cruise 5 with Robert Chenda Mkandawire

Robert Chenda Mkandawire is Head of Finance at the National AIDS Commission. However, he grew up as child with hearing impairment. As a child with a hearing impairment, he was not highly regarded and was mocked by his peers. He struggled through primary and secondary school and college. Almost at all levels, schools didn’t have any special needs facilities and following lessons in class was hard. Despite all these challenges he got distinctions in all science subjects throughout his secondary school, even at MSCE. He got selected to the Polytechnic to study Bachelor of Commerce and later studied for a Masters degree in the UK.

Joab thank you very much. You are educating us that if it happens to be close to disabled people atleast we do something now as we have known the negative and positive effects of our behaviours towards disabled people. I really appreciate
