No. We do NOT need a representative. It does *nothing,* n in fact goes against the point u made that race doesn't matter (which is true). We need o just do better. We know right from wrong, but we listen to the emotional tendencies over logical ones.
This is not exclusive to black people. We all need to stop with the tribal way of thinking. Culture doesnt matter either. Do the right thing. We know what to do. Not marches, not violence, just do the right thing

the difference between black culture and white culture is that everything we as a society do today, from fashion, music, partying styles, way of life, etc has been derived from black people and black communities- most times without even crediting us. there wouldn't be a prominent focus on cultures if white colonizers didn't try to blur the lines and try to take from us what they didn't even understand, while at the same time demonizing us and taking advantage of us and calling us less than worthy. i get the point you were trying to make but there's history to back up most of these terms.

I speak too clearly and use “big” words even though to me it’s regular words. And I also don’t hesitate to call out black culture behavior, like rap music degrading women, encouraging murder of each other, and outcasting their own kind. But I get called non black because I refuse to listen or comply to the culture.

I live in Hungary (so sorry if my English is not the best) but the people of African descent who live here are completely different from African Americans. the problem is that most Hungarians (especially older ones) have never seen African people except in American movies or music videos, so their judgment is that most of the people are probably gangsters or lazy people who don't want to work. I know this is not the case and it is very sad to see. My dentist is Nigerian and he is the nicest person I have ever met and it is sad to see that no matter how hard he works, there will always be someone saying bad things to him because of his skin color. I don't support artist, celebrities, or anyone claiming to benefit blacks while stuffing their pockets. our biggest problems stem from the lack of strong highly upheld black people as role models. You said everything perfectly my guy kudos. Let's keep being a voice and expect more for and from our people. Malcom x spoke of the white liberals back in the 50's. They love to see us be ignorant and then support that ignorance. When debated before I was laying out the how the country affected blacks and created some cultural problems. Now you talkin what I've been trying to teach my kids and the black kids in the community. Black actions are a reflection of community as a whole. As a black American you should act as if every person you meet is meeting a black person for the first time and that's the only impression they'll ever have. Keep talk bro fr. Takes a real one to post a comment like this!! I appreciate it a lot, thank you! You’re a great example for the community and I’m sure your kids will grow up to be as well. These are the type of interactions we need because this right here is what moves us forward. The goal is unity between us all!! Thanks for the kinds words!

I be afraid to speak out about certain things in the community bc of the harassment !
It started in school when mostly the hood acting kids would mistreat and bully a substitute teacher or fight a quiet kid … I learned quickly that the wrong way of doing things will prevail no matter what.
I cry so much in my heart bc of this.
I hurt for so many people and want better for Black Folks I don’t even know. 😢

wow watch you for DBD cause I sense realness in the way people talk, straight to the point no bias and I appreciate it I was raised in black home with my 5 step siblings and 2 other siblings my father wasn’t present because of my mother but yet a man I barely knew who served 10 years in prison and met my mom in halfway house after prison , he single-handedly worked for a Toro company for multiple years and climbed to head manager feed all our stomachs, we were a god fearing family who read scriptures every weekend even if we felt it was long I wish I had that again, but for that reason I treat all life equal and respectful because a Black man who taught me how to be a man by treating me like one , I know there’s so many more people like that out there and some that don’t even know it, this man didn’t whine any injustice or prejudice a work this man worked his ass off for us even though it does exist he pushed forward for the family and taught me the word of the lord if not I’d be lost in this parade of a world

Like im the first black person they see or interact with and im very aware of that so im very cautious and careful how i carry myself. Ive also met some africans and they do not like africans americans at all.

And people question me when i say im hesitant to be around a group of black people or go into a predominantly black neighborhood. Im more likely to be a victim around a black person than i am around anyone else. I have black friends and family members but it doesn't change my views on it. And it makes me sad to have that view of the majority of black people. But it's even more sad that they are doing all this dumb shit so often to make them as a whole look bad.

This video made me feel uneasy because I have had similar experiences about being considered not black enough; and now when I try to challenge the ideals that we choose to represent, I am called many insults that disregard and prove the points that you made in this video. I share the same passion for wanting to see improvement but it’s so hard trying to combat the level of degeneracy they while being either ignored or made to feel even more disconnected from the group. Black people aren’t a monolith but we are suffering from the same root causes. I just feel bad not doing anything but anything I try doesn’t help.
