I'm a "legit" helicopter pilot, and I would find this as a tool for new pilots to lean orientation in upright & inverted flight. One a person can grow with. Nice little bird!

No gears or belts to break, it's direct drive, it has gps & holds its position, auto return & land I think, small amount of acrobatics, very few parts to replace, carbon fiber frame. I can live with the price but would be great if 350.00 to 400 price. I always wanted a helicopter & as of this video, this is perfect for any beginner, even if all they want to do is just fly with a copter. There is no other at this time. Guess our manufacturers are behind technology because I would rather buy from USA company because parts won't take forever to get possibly. I will own this bird.
now THIS helicopter is a true drone, this may be the first actual single rotor drone. The copters that have been drones up to this point have been quads, this is the only helicopter that I have seen that is an actual GPS drone.

I'm happy to see easy flying rc helicopters , because it will alow beginners to enter the hobby without crashes . I have been flying Rc helicopters for over ten years and I'm sure I would most likely crash that helicopter with all of the granny aids it has. I would need to turn all of that off completely. Omg that's awesome . I just ordered one . I have a Eashine E180 and it's extremely hard to fly and I just need air time to practice with out worried all the time about crashing .

They have actually had flybarless flight controllers with those options for a while now.i run an ikon 2 controller in my goblin fireball that does mostly the same things.that being said,it definitely helped me get past flying inverted,and helps with orientation.
i think the 3d pros have to flip and also reverse blade pitch... i have seen this done with those huge copters for years...amazing...just not my cup of tea...1 crash and you have serious problem...thanks for sharing,
The larger FW450 used to sell for the same price. I think I am going to stick to my plans to modify a WLToys V912 using one of Sparky 2.0 flight controllers with the PWM brushed motor outputs enabled, gps, TBS Crossfire Nano, and INAV 4.0. I picked up 7 Sparky 2.0 controllers and built a Navy UAV color AR wing, used a Sparky 2.0 . I think next project would be the V912. If it flies well then I will switch it over to a brushless config. I think $450.00 for the Flywoo copter is too much. I paid $200.00 for a Rekon5 Rekon5 Long Range quad with crossfire. The flywoo heli is probably worth $250.00, not more. I paid $25.00 each for the Sparky.2.0 flight controllers I bought from Horizon Hobby. It's not a cutting edge controller but you can flash it to the the latest version of INAV and it performs extremely well.
Some people are just plain ridiculous I have been in RC fo over 20 years but not everyone will have that opportunity so stop hating it a good tool for training entry level people in the hobby ,and will not cost them an arm and leg to learn I think it a very great tool for the hobby to continue to move in the future.
This thing is amazing. Im a RC heli pilot and I do very very light acro and this heli can be used as a great tool to learn on in combination with the PC simulator. Now my question is are the controls reversed whilst upside down? Meaning when you want to go RIGHT then you have to go left stick on the controls and if you want to go UP you have to push down stick. Or does the control reverse automatically to match the orientation on the Heli? Hope that made sense lol.
I'm definitely not an advanced pilot but I can control my helicopters upside down. I can not fly like it's right side up though; not yet. That said, I personally think that this is great! I would have really liked to have this as a learning tool. However, at this point, I'm experienced enough to practice without it. The RTH feature is awesome though and I would like to have it with mine. Nice video!
So coming for a heli pilot, I personally believe that will do more bad then good. Here why, it will teach you bad habits because you will relay on that and when you “learn” to fly a heli with this heli and you move on to a bigger better heli they will destroy it in seconds because they learned nothing. That GPS hold is not teaching you how to hover, the basic thing you need to learn when flying a heli. Great it can do mild 3D on its own, but! Did it tech you the hand and I coordination? Did you learn your orientations on what to do no matter where the helicopter is? Tail in hover sideways hover so on and so forth those are all very important basic things need to learn that a GPS equipment helicopter will not teach you because it does it itself. Yes it will get more people into the Hobby but it will make more people leave as well. Because they will buy that they will think they know how to fly they will go out and buy a bigger helicopter destroyed in seconds and or severely hurt themselves and kill themselves or others because they are relying on the GPS hold and they have learned nothing. Just my opinion
I agree. Your stuck with this heli only or whatever clone product that is coming. I think it's important to have the basics down. What happens if the GPS unit or some of the tech fails.
@@ARGvision I love helis, I built my channel around helis and teaching guys how to build,setup and flight videos of helis but this is not teaching you. This is the “cheat” code I mean the basic thing to learn is hovering and this don’t even teach you that!
@@IBB4U1 see it won’t even really teach you that as they heli will auto level so yes it will tech you what stick movements to a degree it if the heli is drifting in that orientation it will not help you because of the other level.
It's cool to know that technology has come this far but "I" personally don't use any on board computers for my rc stuff because I want to fly my plane. Not watch as a computer flies my planes for me. And I'm proud to know that I have the skill to fly without a computer helping me.¯\_༼ᴼل͜ᴼ༽_/¯
I like that you like it and I love your videos and appreciate the content. That said, the appeal of helicopters to me has been that they are hard to fly. If the computer does all the work you aren't really flying it. Still neat and it is an impressive piece of technology!
Quick question...my FW200 for some reason it wont go into expert mode when inverted. Every time I set expert in the app it doesnt respond like its in expert, but stays in beginner. Ive tried starting in acro and it still stays in beginner mode. I check the app and each time it says expert...Does anyone have amy suggestions? Btw its the RTF version and controller...
What a relief that must be. It's a little bit of cheating but I'll take it. I'm in the same situation as you. I have been flying longer than you. I have a lot of helicopter's. i have most of the XK Line,. The only one that is not in pieces is the xk110s and the xk 130. Plus the EACHINE E180 and 3 of the E160. Blade i had forever. When i used to try 3D with the nano cpx and the mcpx v2. I don't even try anymore. But still love helicopters and happy just flying them around. Instead trying 3D and wasting a lot of money trying. I'm kinda of upset because i just bought the blade 150s, mcpxbl2, 230s also the blade nano cpx s2.Over a 3 month span. All excellent. But probably would have bought this. Even though it is cheating. It's still teaching you. What to do once upside down. Also giving you confidence. Because you can see first hand how to go inverted. It's not MAGIC!!! I bet in no time you will be flying your other helicopters inverted in no time. Thanks for sharing!! Very excited. This summer i flew my first airplane because of the 2 gyro setting, Same as safe different settings. Now i can fly without safe. So these types of new tech really help even though some people get mad. LOL!!

It's cool, and has great technology, but at $450, that's kinda pricy. It's more like a drone than a real heli. Not sure how much help it would be to learn to fly an RC heli. If you just wanted a cool heli to fly without learning to fly one, this might be the one.
I think you pretty much nailed it on the head! It really is more like a drone than a helicopter. I believe it could really help a person learn orientation, which is pretty huge. Other than that, it’s a lot of technological gimmicky things… but boy are they awesome!! 👍😁😎⚓️

The price is very high. I need a new front locker for my Can-am XDS max turbo R. It is a awesome Helicopter. I would love to sell all of my R/C car an trucks. Everyone hasn't been drove at most 5 times. Most the drones I have I bought from TheRCSaylors ..

Flight time is maybe five minutes. However it can fly on any 3S LiPo with an XT30 connector. It is flying on an 850 mah battery. Very affordable 👍😁😎⚓️

@@ARGvision I love helis, I built my channel around helis and teaching guys how to build,setup and flight videos of helis but this is not teaching you. This is the “cheat” code I mean the basic thing to learn is hovering and this don’t even teach you that!

@@IBB4U1 see it won’t even really teach you that as they heli will auto level so yes it will tech you what stick movements to a degree it if the heli is drifting in that orientation it will not help you because of the other level.
It's cool to know that technology has come this far but "I" personally don't use any on board computers for my rc stuff because I want to fly my plane. Not watch as a computer flies my planes for me.
And I'm proud to know that I have the skill to fly without a computer helping me.¯\_༼ᴼل͜ᴼ༽_/¯

I like that you like it and I love your videos and appreciate the content. That said, the appeal of helicopters to me has been that they are hard to fly. If the computer does all the work you aren't really flying it. Still neat and it is an impressive piece of technology!
I have couple of cheap drones that do flips and rolls at the push of a button, it gets old very fast.
Love it. Can't count how many rc helicopters I have destroyed just trying to learn how to fly.
How much motor power on inverted u sett on apk, mine set on 50,it always descend, seems no power

Quick question...my FW200 for some reason it wont go into expert mode when inverted. Every time I set expert in the app it doesnt respond like its in expert, but stays in beginner. Ive tried starting in acro and it still stays in beginner mode. I check the app and each time it says expert...Does anyone have amy suggestions? Btw its the RTF version and controller...

What a relief that must be. It's a little bit of cheating but I'll take it. I'm in the same situation as you. I have been flying longer than you. I have a lot of helicopter's. i have most of the XK Line,. The only one that is not in pieces is the xk110s and the xk 130. Plus the EACHINE E180 and 3 of the E160. Blade i had forever. When i used to try 3D with the nano cpx and the mcpx v2. I don't even try anymore. But still love helicopters and happy just flying them around. Instead trying 3D and wasting a lot of money trying. I'm kinda of upset because i just bought the blade 150s, mcpxbl2, 230s also the blade nano cpx s2.Over a 3 month span. All excellent. But probably would have bought this. Even though it is cheating. It's still teaching you. What to do once upside down. Also giving you confidence. Because you can see first hand how to go inverted. It's not MAGIC!!! I bet in no time you will be flying your other helicopters inverted in no time. Thanks for sharing!! Very excited. This summer i flew my first airplane because of the 2 gyro setting, Same as safe different settings. Now i can fly without safe. So these types of new tech really help even though some people get mad. LOL!!

I do agree, that this can build confidence, especially if you don’t have anyone around to help teach you. I have gotten nothing but enjoyment out of flying this and letting friends fly it! It's cool, and has great technology, but at $450, that's kinda pricy. It's more like a drone than a real heli. Not sure how much help it would be to learn to fly an RC heli. If you just wanted a cool heli to fly without learning to fly one, this might be the one.
I think you pretty much nailed it on the head! It really is more like a drone than a helicopter. I believe it could really help a person learn orientation, which is pretty huge. Other than that, it’s a lot of technological gimmicky things… but boy are they awesome!! 👍😁😎⚓️

The price is very high. I need a new front locker for my Can-am XDS max turbo R. It is a awesome Helicopter. I would love to sell all of my R/C car an trucks. Everyone hasn't been drove at most 5 times. Most the drones I have I bought from TheRCSaylors ..
