    Active and reactive power supplied by the sync generator is always equal to that of demanded by load. I got this but what about the voltage and frequency of the sync generator in that cases? You mentioned active and reactive power can't be controlled by viz governer and exciting system. Can you make this thing clear?

    Sir.Which one is droop formula?
    1. % droop =( fnl-ffl)ffl x 100 or
    2. % droop = ( fnl - ffl )/ (0 - Pfl ) x 100
    ?

    Assalamualaikum sir,
    In Droop formula , you have taken referance ffl.
    But according to question it can be Fnl also

      Wa Alaikum Assalam,
      In all such formulae (Droop formula, Voltage Regulation formula etc.), full-load value is taken as reference quantity. For more details, you may see some standard books like, "Electrical Machinery Fundamentals" by STEPHEN J. CHAPMAN
