I heard it once on the radio and I liked it. I didn't even know what the song was about because I couldn't hear what it said. I didn't know about the video. It was a surprise to me when I saw it. I think it is catchy because it has elements that we all know about religion and it tells about how our bodies are churches. It is a proof of how profane we tend to be to accept our shortlasting existance forgetting about religions and connecting to our divinity. Our bodies are churches where we worship the force of life who made us. I definitely feel this song connects me to something else.
Humble guy! The song stands out because it is brilliant! But at no point does Hozier acknowledge that. The success is unexpected and seems like a mystery to him. Very down to earth.... very Irish.
I listened to this a couple times in the radio and when I learned tha name of it I searched it and watched the lyrics. It's my favorite because it's so inspiring to me and speaks the truth that other people are afraid to admit. I listen to this song every day.
Somone called him the Forest God.....has risen to make beautiful music. I agree wholeheartedly. Love him. He's beautiful outside and inside............that's a lot to say, given today's power greedy celebrities.
It's not just about catholics or gays it's the concept that people who might want to love religion get turned off by it because that's the process I bear my soul to you and you use that information to sharpen your knife to make me feel bad about myself when I came to church for the spiritual experience not a human being telling me I'm sinful
the industry needs more people like hozier
He's the most beautiful man.
