DONT tell him. i feel like the husband doesn’t trust the best friend as much as he trusts his own wife so he’ll most likely believe what she says . if she’s seeing someone while married and probably lying her way through it just proves she’s a great liar and manipulator. she also manipulated the best friend by making her accept her apology after kicking her out !!! what “best friend” does that??. the truth WILL eventually come out and the husband will soon find out how much of a pu$$y his wife is, and why her best friend left her. i personally believe it’s best if she leave her best friend’s life, completely toxic
@Parking_lot182 if the best friend got evidence, i agree with you. in the absence of proof, the wife will create a scene and will probably try to trick the husband into believing that the best friend is trying to ruin their marriage or something. as a result, the wife will victimize herself and make her husband even more drawn to her and her lies. cuz if i were the husband, i would honestly stick to my wife's word if there wasn't any evidence.
@Parking_lot182 yes but remember karma is real ! 🤣 and what i meant is there’s no point in telling (without proof) if she’s a narcissistic manipulator. you need to mark where she manipulated her best friend into forgiving her after literally kicking her out on the street. whether she speaks up or not, their lives are already ruined in the first place. just know that the truth will come out at any moment :)
Okay so I have a similar story, my bestie met met this guy and they ended up being really close she used to text him all night while texting me rarely, which I was jealous of so when I met him I didn't like him at first, but then we got along so my jealousy died down, so this guy ended up developing a huge crush on her, and part of the reason she wanted me to get close to him was so he would develope a crush on me and move on from her, and obviously I was like "no way dude", and the more I got to know his feelings for her I realized he had it baaad for her and it wasn't simply a matter of him just finding someone else, well anyways we all knew that she didn't like him, everyone but him that is, she kept leading him on, not necessarily telling him he had a chance but not turning him down when everyone knew that's what she wanted to do, well it was like this for couple of months and then she got a boyfriend and told everyone to keep it from him, and even months of being in a relationship she still kept leading this poor guy on, while being like "guys, don't tell him anything imma tell him", so coincidentally I ended up meeting him the day after she finally decided to turn him down but she still hadn't told him about the boyfriend, I just couldn't hold it in and told him, thinking that it would help him get over her better,he thanked me for telling him, but she was angry, well I still weaseled my way out of her anger and it all died down quickly but yea, I love you bestie but you were literally playing with his feelings and even I, someone who has no feelings, felt sorry for him
100% tell Tim. Put yourself in the husband's shoes and do the right thing, even if it means being a "bad" friend.
The one being the bad friend is the one doing the cheating and putting the other friend in the position of knowing and having to worry about whether or not to do the right thing, and it pains me that so many people would consider someone the "bad friend" for telling the person being cheated on what they deserve to know. I know you don't, hence "bad" being in quotes and all, but yeah. It pains me to my soul that anyone would be seen as the "bad friend" for telling.
It might be because I was in a similar position. My best friend was always cheating on his girlfriends and then even his wife and would tell me about it. I asked him repeatedly not to tell me about it, that the conversation itself made me uncomfortable and that I was even more uncomfortable with having to keep his secret for him by lying. I eventually told him I wouldn't lie for him anymore. When his wife asked indirect questions I kind of dodged the issue. "No, I don't know where he is." instead of saying like "He's probably over fucking Jennifer right now, did you try there?" When she finally got around to asking me directly "Is he cheating on me?" I had to tell the truth. I did feel bad about betraying his trust, but I had asked him repeatedly not to put that trust in me in the first place. We're still friends now, but it definitely put our relationship on the rocks for a while several different times.

@@tardybloomer Yeah definitely possible, probably more than possible since it seems she missed it. And I wasn't saying people necessarily should get the reference even if they don't watch the show. It's just so well known at this point it warrants at least a little surprise when someone doesn't know. Especially when the person who doesn't know is female, because the show had such a large female audience.
This is a bit of an uncommon case where it concerns this show because of the whole "McDreamy" thing, which made the show even more well known, as well as its long run-time. It'd be like someone not knowing the show Supernatural is being referenced when someone talks about Sam and Dean Winchester.

you should tell tim!!! ive been in the same situation. i ruined their relationship and my friendship for a year, she came back though and thanked me and realized she wasnt truly happy in the relationship, and the guy still thanks me to this day. stay true to YOURSELF. tell her to tell him and if she doesnt do it yourself.

Absolutely encourage your friend to tell TIM the truth, but if she doesn’t. You should, but I would talk to her through text so you have evidence of her acknowledgement of the events. So he can at least have more trust in you.
PLEASE TELL TIM!!! my only thought while hearing that secret and hearing that they're going to start trying for a baby was that she may accidentally end up pregnant with her ex's baby and try to pass it off as her hubby's or not even know who the father is... which I know is a far reach but it's still very possible.
if you lose your best friend, just know that it was probably for the best as she was able to just kick you out of her house with absolutely no remorse when you had nowhere else to stay, that is not the way you treat a friend, especially one you've known for so long.
My honest guess (from personal experience) is that she's treated you a certain way multiple times in the past but you're scared to lose her because you don't see how bad her behavior is and the "she wouldn't treat me bad, we've been friends for years" mindset.
regardless, I would say encourage your bestie to tell him and admit what she's doing, because if she's able to so nonchalantly do this to him behind his back it's only going to get worse, and he will find out eventually. It's up to you whether you want him to find out right now or in 10 years when they have a kid who will have to go through seeing their parent's divorce or stay together just for them.

Doesn't matter how well you know them, if you feel it isn't your place, whatever the situation is, people deserve to not spend/waste their life with someone who isn't being trustworthy/loyal/faithful/honest etc with them. Also will be better for the cheater in the long run too because obviously she is not happy in her marriage. Better all around for everyone. My dad knew his friend was cheating on his wife. He risked their friendship and told her, and we haven’t talked to them in years. The last time we saw them was in 2018, and it was only for a few minutes. Mind you this was when i was a baby. But their marriage has worked out. I would tell the husband but please be careful.

Once I got really really drunk.
I was stupid & thought I can drink infinite amounts of coctails "because basically they're 80% water" & I downed a lot of kinds of it, with strong shots, beers & even wine & jager, I think. I felt really pretty & confident, but most of my night was spent with peeing & laughing at everything, because I didn't even know what was going on. I heard months later, that I thought a girl was a tree & tried to climb on her & I ate 2 slices of random people's pizza.
My friend asked if I was okay, I said yes, hugged him & immadiately I ran away to vomit. I said hi to my roommates, but ran away again. I got back to my room, a roommate of mine took off my clothes & I went to throw up again. Finally, I felt okay...so I thought. I went to sleep. I slept with open eyes. They woke me up, I talked like I was in another dimension. I threw up in the sink, then on the bed. I was dressed up by them again. My bed was changed. The floor had a spot still. Next day, I remembered like none of it past me falling asleep. Even now, the splatter of vomit is on the floor after 10 months & I had to spend 400$s on cleaning the bedsheets.
Not the most graceful moment of my life to say the least..

the drunkest I ever was, me and my friends tried to take 21 shots one for every year my friend has lived (it was his birthday), anyway, my friends wanted me to take a shot while leaning backwards and one was gonna catch me and the other was going to throw the shot in my mouth and they missed and thew it in my nose.... I sniffed tripple distilled vodka. it burned so much I just ended up crying in a curled up ball of pain...
That first secret isn't that weird to me as a 19-year-old with an older brother (12 years older). I wouldn't even say it's co-dependency. It just sounds like they're really close siblings to me. My older brother and I were always just the two of us, and we grew up with a single mom and "deadbeat" (his more than mine) fathers who weren't present in our lives. He's called me his wife's name by accident and called her my name by accident. But he literally does that with our mom as well and his sister-in-law.
We've hung out while my sister-in-law was busy or visiting her family. We went to the beach together with my nephew, which was fun. We're just close, and I love spending time with my brother. There's literally nothing weird about it. It's almost like having a close friend you meet up with or hang out with when free and call up when you're bored. It's always spontaneous as well, and his wife loves it. Sometimes all of us hang out together. She literally invites me.
To be honest, I feel like the person in the first secret is blowing it out of proportion unless there's more to the story they didn't share. But then again, since we're a small family, we are incredibly close. Apparently, we're more close than I thought compared to others.

To the first story: I’ve called my brother babe a ton and him the same to me once he had a gf. We laughed about it the first few times and now we just ignore it cause we both know it was just a mistake lol I’ve never called my husband my brothers name tho but I can see how it happens if he spends a a lot of time with his sister. It also seem like they have a close relationship as do my brother and I. I wouldn’t worry about it tbh.

@@arsena5209 Yeah.. Honestly its a strange situation- I'm very close to my older bro(s) (i actually have three ^^;) and, I could honestly see mixing up names of him with other people in my life. Obviously not due to any gross incest-y thing but cause if I'm close with a bunch of people, I mix up names. Hell, I call my cat my bros name wayy to many times than I'd like to admit.

Tell Tim, I was in the same situation with a “friend”. I kept telling her to break up with the boyfriend and she continually made excuses on why she “couldn’t”. I was also friends with the guy she was cheating with. Anyways, she finally broke up with her boyfriend, and then I got a DM. She had told him she was breaking up with him because I had been pressuring her to do it. Told him I thought he was a loser and that she deserved better. I was so pissed I told him the truth and we both were basically like what the fuck. Neither of us said anything to her about the new secret we had. I continued to be friends with girl until I realized how toxic she really was. She got mad at me for hanging out with her new boyfriend alone. (the one she cheated with) even though I was how they met in the first place. She also did this with another boyfriend (she was convinced I was trying to get with him). Also found out another situation that had happened behind my back but I won’t disclose it. this was like 11 or so years ago. This girl contacted me a few years ago after she met my husband while he was out with a friend (we were in town visiting family) she brought me up and told him how good of friends we were. He came home and told me about it and my sister and I bursted out laughing. I never responded to her message.
