After the upgrade video, the 'C14 Rock Crawler V1' was created! It was the result of an evenings tinkering with some spare parts, old parts and a dremel!

That brings us to today... in this video, watch the V2 in action on it's shakedown around the RCOCM home crawler course. It proved to be a worthy test as the weight of the wheels and the grip of the tyres along with it's new found capabilities proved too much for the mini steering servo 😬... so watch this space for even more mods to come! 😅

You can try the mn 78 drive shafts. I used mn 86 links on a rig and the mn78 fit perfectly
Thanks! I'm using the 86 links and 78 driveshaft. I've since brought in the lower links ever so slightly so now the shafts are no longer at full extension and don't bind, so I'm well pleased! 😊 Went out with it this weekend... more to come on this one! Thanks for watching and commenting 🙏❤️

@@LucianTugui thanks for watching and asking your questions... Spider has a much longer wheelbase than standard... this guy's rig is awesome and his wheelbase is ever so slightly longer I'd say. I love the Portal axles but maintenance is key for prolonged life, especially if running through mud and water. I like the additional ground clearance but having said that, Spider hasn't run straight axles with the new wheels and tyres, so I may well see what thats like, will lower c of g a little more👍
