Working on the fuel tank and fuel delivery system for Wallace the 66. Pulling the gas tank and cleaning the lines. Getting it running from a jerry can, up to full operating temperature and found no leaks - other than the fuel pump I almost twisted in half getting the filter canister off.

Those emblems came off late 80s and early 90s trucks. Wallace looks good for the age my grandfather had one around the same year.

My truck wasn’t drivable at this point so it was just sitting on the ground with a fuel line dipped inside. Not ideal but worked for what I needed. There’s lots of room under the hood for a temp install of a small can though.

Troy, will ya be getting a mechanical or electric fuel pump?
Sticking with mechanical for now. If I ever swap for a rear fuel cell (which is likely) I’ll most likely go with electric at that point.
