You took me down memory lane. Some of these matches are 10 years ago. The number 2 is odd though. I really wonder what happened to Samantha Stosur. She was so good between 2010-2012. She had all the weapons to be a multiple slam champion, but surprisingly she just faded. Eugenie Bouchard's case is something I can never wrap my head around. Very good in 2014, and went on a continuous downward spiral. Nice compilation.
Sam was a headcase. Should've won 2010 French in addition the USO Title at a minimum but her mind was never right to be consistent but she definitely had the game. Wimbledon was never going to be her friend due to the surface/bounce but her mental weakness really showed at her home slam in Australia.

Indian Wells or Miami / Canada or Cincinnati. It's very hard for players to win both tournaments consecutively in each swing due to their close proximity. Serena won all four multiple times, but had a better track record winning Miami (8) & Canada (3).
I miss so many of the players here…serena obviously but ivanovic, li na and stosur especially…I never fully appreciated stosur because she didn’t win big alot but she probably has the most atp like game in the history of popular female tennis players in the past few decades lol. Alot of coaches were really afraid to teach their female students this way so she was truly special

If you're talking about 2020, that was actually at the Billie Jean King Center in New York. They moved the Cincy Open there to make a "bubble" and prepare the players who were planning on playing the US Open since it was pretty risky to travel.
@@smallfire93 I’m not talking about that. The camera angle at Cincinnati changed in 2018 and then again in 2019.
