My dad and I came here in 2018 and he told one of the elevator operators that I am interested in elevators. They let me push the button that takes it from Floor 108 to the highest floor that any elevator there serves, which I believe is called 112V. It's where the 112 plaque in my profile picture comes from.
I would also like to get a description from someone who has rode in these elevators,as to the experience and feeling of ascending and descending in these elevators The speed of these elevators is awesome I am not nervous about using them but am very curious.
Strat secret I've been doing for years... I you're going during the day and don't plan to do any of the rides, have lunch at Top of the World first. Since most items on their lunch menu are the same price as tower admission, it's like getting free lunch at the revolving restaurant while enjoying the view... after which you can go up one more floor to the observation deck and enjoy the view some more.

They have Otis 339HT gearless machines. The exact same used at old World Trade Center in New York
The elevators have been modernized with Series M2 mod. I rode on it recently.
That poor floor indicator got heavily abused! I wish I can go back and ride the elevators and the 3 thrill rides at the top!
Do you feel any kind of dropping sensation on the way down due to the speed? Feel quite nervous about using it.

Interesting, thanks for telling me about that! I’ll have to try it out next time haha.
Weeeeeeeeeeeeee! Those look awesome to ride!
Nice thumbnail
Thanks! Also thank you again for letting me use that pic!
The floor display is a bit crooked!
as of now, the indicators have been replaced (Also the cabs too)
When I was here elevator 3 was broken
I thought these go 1600 fpm
The inside of these have been modded
I remember seeing a photo a few weeks ago, it looks pretty nice. The panels were really beat up anyways, so I don’t blame them.
