During the town hall, Trump repeated his false claims about migrants. Former Univision president Joaquin Blaya joins Morning Joe to share his thoughts about the town hall.

Rosanne Boyland appeared to have been crushed in a stampede of fellow rioters as they surged against the police.
Benjamin Philips, the founder of a pro-Trump website called Trumparoo, died of a stroke.
Mr. Greeson and Mr. Philips died of natural causes, the Washington medical examiner said in April. He added that Ms. Boyland’s death was caused by an accidental overdose.
In the days and weeks after the riot, five police officers who had served at the Capitol on Jan. 6 died.
Officer Brian D. Sicknick of the Capitol Police, who was attacked by the mob, died on Jan. 7.
Officer Jeffrey Smith of the Metropolitan Police Department killed himself after the attack.
Officer Howard S. Liebengood of the Capitol Police also died by suicide four days afterward.

That ‘interview’ was beyond shameful. I hope the American immigrants paid attention to what he was saying.

I was born in 1967 in Florida. My parents were here for a few years after Castro. When I was growing up, I remember the craziness with immigration and so many people so many Hispanic people, especially in Florida coming in and it was tough and it was hard, but we grew as a community. We worked hard we participated, and we created some of the greatest foundations in Florida when it came to my particular case for my family in manufacturing, Hispanic people in housing and real estate development and in media and communication so to say that to get rid of people specially in Springfield Ohio is the solution is crazy. Yes growing pains will happen and a lot of times it’s tough, but if the people are hard, there are working and participating and adding to the community, it will get better it will grow.
