Bags are very personal. I personally use the Orca-30 for my SD633 and Zoom F8n, but I have nothing bad to say about the K-tek Singray Small. Still, my personal choice would be the Orca. I like the access it gives me for rigging points and the height at the top is perfect for my fingers getting into the fader knobs.
Well I picked the Orca bag because I have had good expirence with their products in the past. Also I prefer the Orca aesthetic. I know it sounds crazy but I actualy take the color into consideration. Haha. My only complaint is the bag will block the two top sides of the mixer. This makes it difficult for removing my SD card and on the other side if I dont have a low profile xlr, it is very difficult to insert the 3rd xlr input.
I first thought I’d be with Orca forever because I love the blue color, haha. I got the k tek MixPro bag for my MixPre and loved it so I got this stingray bag for my 633.
+ Orca - included receiver pouches (keeps them protected somehow) - shorter - clean look - removable front pouch (fronts sold separately) - shoulder strap included + Stingray - retractable handles - non blocking bottom section - storage pouches all over - molle attachments Cons - no user manual, fun to see videos of people unboxing the bag as a puzzle - ORCA - No MOLLE, what if I want to have a pen or flashlight or utility things on the sides? - no inside door storage or more small storage space Stingray - judged by its looks
Interested in this too, since the 270 is so light (600-700gr). I love K-TEK Junior bag even being 1.3kg but now the Junior X weights 1.8kg! And can't find the old plain Junior. That's why I look for alternatives to fit a MixPre10II and a couple dual wireless rx that is light.

ORCA OR-280 is designed for mix pre10t but can the 10t fit in an ORCA OR-270?

How does it work with the tascam dr 60 ?
How do you attached lectrosonics receivers to the bag?
Both bags have elastic straps that hold them in
Any suggestions for the MixPre 10T?
I’d probably look into the Ktek junior stingray bag.
ORCA bought out a dedicated back for the MixPre 10

Which do you prefer?
I just recently switched to the K-Tek bag. I’d choose it over the Orca, but they are both good.
Orca is too heavy!!
